Excellent book
Have you ever imagined the response of someone undergoing trauma in their life, and receiving a hug and a kind, loving word from you? Even the most despondent creature would benefit. Even People like Vladimir Putin would melt to a soft hand and gentle smile. Read this book for all the secrets to this important behavioral tactic and all the warmongers will take off their boots and put on those long-forgotten bunny slippers their mommies gave them so many years ago.

An enlightening and uplifting book!
I bought this during the Covid lockdown when everyone I knew was blue. This was the perfect pick me up. I came away with the realization that mental health is not only important, it is probably more critical than physical health because it has so much impact on our biology. The writing flows beautifully. It's the story of the author's own evolution from a medical student who was taught that the body is a collection of parts that often need repair, to a doctor who realizes that there is far more to health than just the body. By the end I felt happier and more empowered than I have in a long time. If everyone read this, we would have a much happier and healthier population because we would spend a lot more time on mental health and there are many new discoveries that can greatly improve our mental health. I highly recommend this!

Very important information
A very good book about how everything you do and surrounds you impacts your health, so many doctors look only at the physical evidence and many times can't find and answer, our relationships, our environment, our mental health and many other variables that Doctor Kelli Harding mentions in the book play a role in how healthy we are, I love that people in science and medicine are taking a second look and researching more about all this other things that are not so much hard facts.Totally recommend reading it, much more after covid and quarantine since we were deprived of many things that will impact our wellbeing. My only complaint is that is too short.

An actionable guidebook for a healthier and more joyful life!
This book is a beautiful tapestry of personal tales, professional (anonymized) anecdotes and scientific studies. It weaves together leading thinking from a number of traditionally disparate fields to make a compelling case that our health and well-being are a result of so much more than traditional medicine usually suggests. Dr. Harding not only describes this holistic approach to health, but she provides clear tools and easily applicable suggestions to put these insights into action. Along with making a number of medical and psychological studies easy to understand, her writing style is playful and a joy to read.

Making the science behind good health digestible for the average (non-scientific) reader
Dr. Harding's easy style of blending real life anecdotes with hard science makes this book not just a compelling read with an important message, but also an enjoyable read full of stories with which readers can easily identify and understand. Book clubs, students, employees or just someone looking for a good book to get lost in will enjoy and learn from "The Rabbit Effect".

Positive Vibes Only
The book was amazing, incredibly enlightening. Everyone needs a dose of positivity and this is your guide to that. The book is filled with facts and cases that lead me down different rabbit holes. I borrowed it from my local library and loved it so much that I bough it to add to my collection. My only issue was not with the book but the supplier. They put a big bar code sticker on the back not easy to get off and left residue behind.
