I just had a knee replacement. Although I had a machine to provide cold to the surgical area, this ice pad was by far the most helpful in dealing with the extreme pain. I purchased 3, so that I would be able to interchange them when needed. The smooth plastic side provided the most cold; the other less so. The adjustable strap also allowed me to position it exactly where I needed. Best money I ever spent!

This is perfect! I need something that could wrap around my calf after emergency surgery for a blood clot. I'm gonna only say, lay it flat in the freezer because it's stiff and the edges can poke you until they thaw. Used error not the product. But I will give a mega thumbs down to the plastic bag that you're supposed to stick it in every time you freeze it it ripped the day I was taking it out of the bag and you're supposed to put it in the bag every single time that it goes in the freezer. So when it's not a big enough bag two can't really lay it flat completely and the material is cheesy. So just freeze like normal but lay it flat so it's easier for wherever you're needing to use it on your body. But fantastic purchase

I bought a lot of ice packs and these are far from the best. I would definitely recommend them.

I purchased this gel pack for my back. I have only used it a few times, but I am pleased so far. There is a generous amount of gel in each section but the pack is still pliable when frozen. One side is plush and the other is plastic. I like using the plush side as I don't feel I need to wrap it in a towel first. This was the correct size for my needs- I am 5'3" and it is long enough to cover my spine from shoulder blades to lower back, or from hip to hip, depending on the way the pack is oriented. My only wish is that I could remove the strap entirely as I rarely use it, and it would make it easier to get the gel pack into the protective bag to put in the freezer. I ended up using a 2 1/2 gallon Ziplock instead of the bag that came with the pack.

I really like the fact that it is a two side cold pack. One side is a colder side than the other. I just came had knee replacement surgery, when my old pack sprung a couple of leaks at the seems. The down side is the thime it takes to re- freeze, which is 4 hours or more. I have other packs to swap out during each packs re- freeze time.

The products quality is impeccable, stays cold for a very long time. My issue is that I have a very large chest and a 44 inch waistline and I’m struggling to get it to fit comfortably. I wish that it came with an extension strap.
