This is a great introduction to embroidery. I've cross-stitched before, but I've never embroidered "free-handed" like this. You get four individual kits with clearly printed patterns and plenty of thread to complete the designs even if you mess up or tangle the string trying to unravel it.The instructions for some of the stitches could be much clearer. A few need another step or picture between the explanations, but they've given you the name of the stitch so it isn't too hard to look it up for a clearer explanation, but it is a bit of a pain.Moreover, I've already forgone a few of the instructions for what type of stitch to use where because it looks better to have two columns of one-inch running stitches side by side rather than one two-inch stitch. That's just a personal preference on my part, though.The plastic hoops are a bit difficult to use when hooping your fabric, but they get the job done. If you want to display these pieces, definitely get different hoops because they are pretty unsightly.

I bought this (along with a few other kits) as a beginner as I've only done 1 kit before and I find it to be amazing. Each design is separated in it's own bag with instructions, thread and needles to prevent confusion. The cotton cloth has a nice feel to it and what I'm really excited about is the clearly printed design (as opposed to the barely visible one on another kit). The hoop was a little confusing at first, but feels sturdy. Great value for the price paid.

Product came as described. I havent gotten a chance to use it just yet. I am giving it 4 stars because nothing was missing, but not 5 because the instructions are very unclear and hard to use. I will need to watch YouTube videos or find other article to try to figure out how to use it.

I absolutely loved this kit!! My first time ever trying embroidery and this kit made it so easy can't wait to start the others. I had to go to YouTube to see the videos because the instructions it came with did not help but definitely worth it!! Also you get a deal because I was going to buy one just to try for $10 then saw this kit for 4 under $20!!

I haven't had the chance to start making these yet. The fabric has the outline printed and there are 2 needles for each pattern. Each pattern is ready to be worked on right out of the package.

This is decent but I don't recommend. The hoop is broken so I have to use a rubberband to keep it closed. The instructions on how to do the stitches were not clear. And the overlapping designs, once the first stitches are on, you can see the pattern for the overlapping one anymore.

Bought for my daughter who wanted to learn more embroidery skills. She absolutely loves these kits. Great value and lots of different stitches, not just all satin stitch like many designs
