I have this on a 21' gate and I Open and close it for over a year very rough with the gate the wheel works great

Typical metal pipe farm gate, always sagging at the open long end so one would have to lift the gate while swinging it open, then the same when closing it. Pain. Now with this tire and wheel bolted on the lower end of the gate, it literally takes one finger to open and close the gate! Easy to install and well worth the price for the ease at which the gate opens now. Should have bought this years ago.

I've been through lower priced gate wheels. They do not work well or if they do, not for long. This product is well designed and extremely well built. Very sturdy. The u-bolt clamps are flattened on the side that contacts the gate rail. This is very important because u-bolts with a round contact surface tend to slip and/or compress the tubing. These grip very well without distorting the gate tubing. It is easy to install. You have to get it positioned just right but it isn't that hard.The only thing that is important to know about this wheel is that it is heavy. What this means is that it needs to contact the ground through the full arch of the gate so that it is not hanging in mid air at any point. This can be an issue on rough farm roads and driveways which was true in my case. I had to spend a little time leveling up the path the wheel follows. Again, not a big deal; but because of the weight of this wheel you do not want it hanging because that will cause your gate to sag.Overall, this is the best farm gate solution I've seen.It is not cheap but as soon as you open the box you will know it is money well spent.

No issue works as described at first but after 3 months of use the tire developed a flat spot and will not work.

So far this kit has worked perfectly and held up the gate. This wheel has made it much easier for my wife to open the gate that is across our driveway.

My 20 foot swinging fence panel sits on the ground and was just too heavy for one person to move. The U-clamp holes on the wheel mount are spaced just right to clamp onto the panel pipe and easy to adjust. It took only a few minutes to install using a floor jack, and the solid tire won't go flat. The large tire makes only a slight depression on the ground which allows the panel to settle into position. When it's time to move it, a slight pull and the panel rises up and swings open easily with only one person. Would definitely buy another. If there was a smaller model to fit the 10 foot panels I would also buy one of those but have not found any for sale. Before I found this, the pipe fence couldn't be moved without 2 people to lift it. Thank you for a good quality, good functioning product.

It did what it was supposed to do, only problem, the tire came to gate post which left a gap of about 1.5 feet so gate didn’t close completely. They approved my return without any problem which was nice. Its a big well built wheel and mounted easily.

bracket is extremely sturdy, however the tire is utter garbage and clearly not solid rubber or plastic! mine has developed a huge flat spot in less than 30 days!my gate sits on soft grass/gravel, not even on hard concrete! have submitted a claim to amazon for a replacement, but if its the same garbage wheel ill simply return the whole thing.hopefully vendor makes it right, that is completely false advertising on the tire.
