Solar System - disc for Sega Toys Homestar Classic/Flux/Original Planetarium

We have a small house but it’s so much fun to see the planets splayed across the ceiling..

Overall, it's pretty cool. But I've been going back and forth on whether or not I want to return it.- I'm fairly sure they sent me a used one. It was totally scratched and smudged. I could not get the smudges out. VERY disappointing.- all 8 planets will not show at the same time on the sega classic- the sun is never in sharp focus.- jupiter is only partial. And you don't see the eye.But it is fun. And despite not all planets showing, it's kind of fun to wait for the planets to appear while it's rotating.

I like this disk a lot, but it does have some flaws.I feel I should disclaim that I’m using a Sega Flux, and the quality of the image is wonderful. However, the spinning function doesn’t really work on this disk. For my purposes, I don’t mind too much, but if you want to watch all the planets, you’ll have to rotate the disk by hand.As I said, the quality of the images are wonderful though, however I’m sort of disappointed in the clashing styles the planets are in. The terrestrial planets are clear compiled full surface images, with the exception of earth having a few clouds. The Gas and Ice giants, however, are opaque spheres, like you would see through a telescope. I really wish they would have chosen one style or another to keep the images consistent.Other than those two points, it is a beautiful disk, with the flux, probably the best home viewing of the solar system I have seen.
