Excellent Buy for the Price
The product is nice and light with a solid very quick and reactive screen which makes it very easy to deal with, the sound is pretty great for the price and the fact that you CAN connect to a speaker system makes it all the better. The back up camera is a Huge plus and very functional and honestly very easy to install. I have a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 2016 and it wasn't the Best option for it ONLY because of fitting issues, BUT I am very inventive so I managed to deal with it well enough that it worked out great... With that said, I will Also have to state that even with the purchase of a CH1 and RR1 (an extra $206) there was something wrong with the connection (green to gray cables) that make the radio turn off every time I went less than 20mph and kept going on and off like that until I had to figure it out for myself... Even though the Maestro RR1 is supposed to work as the "mainframe" that connects the functions of the vehicle to the radio it didn't exactly do the job at the beginning. Although I did absolutely Everything by the book, I still had to reconnect cables outside of the instructions to make it functional.Apart from THAT it is a GREAT BUY, especially for the price and the features within the (pretty much the android tablet) stereo.PS: it does NOT have an SD Card Slot or an Aux port, but everyone has a smart phone by now so it really doesn't matter. Also, don't get frustrated with the Chinese words, you CAN Change all that once uou play with it enough. Preferably within Wifi Range so you can Really do everything with ease.

Good item, great customer service
This is a review of a cheap Podofo head unit with some nicer features like GPS and decent amount of memory. The unit seems responsive and fast. The screen is not the brightest out of the box and has no obvious knobs to adjust it but if you go into settings (admittedly quite buried in the menus) then you can get brightness and contrast to be OK for daily driving. The sound output is great for my system (I only have two channels) but not sure it would be great for surround. Everything about this unit is cheap but not cheapo. They send you a manual by PDF - no print version. The manual and the menus have some Chinese characters here and there but you can decode the necessary bits. Actually you do not need a manual - all the pinouts are available in the settings once you power on the unit. The wires are not all labeled well (like speaker wires have no labels) but the wires on my unit follow standard codes so for example my sound was good the first time I hooked everything up. Best of all, when I made a mistake and failed to properly hook up the reverse wire, their tech support spent two days with me by email helping me troubleshoot. It was slow but I have to admire the commitment to the customer.I just installed the unit so I have no idea if the screen will last or anything to do with longevity. I also think that if you have a few hundred dollars extra and don't want the installation hassle then maybe buy a brand name and have the dealer install it. If money matters though, then this unit is an impressive bargain for the money.

Poor product
This is a long review so I apologize, but I feel it is important that I give a full accounting of my findings with this unit.First unit I received popped and smoked as soon as the battery power was reapplied to the car after installation despite all connections being correct. Amazon was very good about getting a replacement sent out and I received that quickly. The second unit powered on using the exact same connections as the first unit, verifying it wasn't the connections that caused the first to fail.Once the unit booted you are presented with a generic Android launcher screen much like a tablet. The radio functions adequately, though the app is very limited and the unit itself only supports the FM band. The backup camera also works well and the unit will automatically switch to the camera provided the reverse sensing wire on the unit's wiring harness is connected to a wire in the car that gets +12v when the car is put in reverse. The camera has 12 bright white LEDs which come on when the camera is activated (I connected the camera's power to the +12V line to the reverse light) which makes backing in the dark easier. I use a stand-alone Sirius-XM receiver for most of my listening while driving so the Aux-in function is important to me. When I was using this, whenever I switched to another input (the radio for example) the audio from the Aux-in would continue to play through the left side speakers unless I turned off the XM receiver. When I contacted Podofo regarding this, it took a week for them to give me a response (after having to send them 2 different emails so they could verify the unit I received),.I was told that the unit I ordered did not have the Aux-in function, despite the product description specifically stating it has support for it. The unit also has a limited equalizer in the sound settings which includes a HiFi switch which drastically increases the Bass output of the unit, however this function seems to turn on and off randomly and trying to either turn it on or off while driving can be a hazard. The GPS functions well, however you will need to download offline maps or tether your phone to the unit using a WIFI hotspot. The mirror link feature uses a 3rd party app and occasionally drops connection to the phone while using the USB (Galaxy Note 8) but if tethered using the WIFI hotspot appears to be more stable.Bluetooth audio from my phone is extremely low and essentially worthless when paired to the unit, but pairing my phone to any other bluetooth speaker/headphone or even the original factory radio, the audio was just fine. I have not tried using the unit to make and receive calls via bluetooth with my phone so can't speak to the quality there. I also have not tried the steering wheel buttons since I did not connect the wiring. The touch screen does seem to have a few glitches where touches don't always seem to register quite right. When it came to the installation, the wiring was simple enough, though the mounting in my 2014 Subaru Forester requires some additional hardware (which I have ordered separately but have not yet received). The manual that came with the unit is printed so small as to be virtually worthless unless you have a good magnifier.Final thoughts - you can change the launcher to a 3rd party one available on the Play Store which will make the unit appear and function more like a dedicated car head unit, but the installed firmware is severely lacking. The unit reports that the Android version is 9.1but the API level indicates that the unit is in reality running Android 6.0

Don't even think about Android Auto...this ain't it!
The media could not be loaded. Product is not compatible with ANY version of Android Auto, not even the wired version.Product video shows that you have to turn on developer mode just to mirror the phone screen, I can only get the wired USB mode to operate. The TIAVN app to transfer files and mirror the screen is filled with ads and a horrible interface. It is a decent head unit so far, it does work with my add on steering wheel controls, backup camera mode works with my existing camera. Just install another music player like Poweramp or Musicolet because the included Music app has a 3000 file limitation from a USB stick.I would send it back, but I waited too long to install it.
