Catit Vesper High Base Extra Large Cat Tree, Cat Furniture, 52060, Walnut

This is a very nice cat tree. When I saw the product page I was so taken with the red model I nearly ordered it, but settle for the tamer white since it went much better with our color scheme. It is a great looking cat tree, if you hate those ugly carpeted things but also don't care about eradicating every trace of actually having a cat. It is clearly a cat tree, but a damn good looking one. I have to point out there are actually no instructions included. BUT, they point you to a video and with one first watch-thru and some timely pausing on a second run as we assembled, it was fairly easy to put together. Once we had it up, it was surprisingly sturdy. I've poked and prodded at carpeted cat trees on every PetSmart visit, and have always been a little skeptical about their structural integrity. This thing refuses to wobble! They gave it a nice heavy and broad base, and there aren't any platform areas balanced on cardboard poles. I only wish they made much taller models. My ball of fur loves climbing- I suppose he sees it as a challenge, having only 3 legs. However, the top cave section is his favorite spot in the house. I have it in a corner with so he has a choice of two windows- look out at cars and occasionally people, or look at the neighbors and his favorite little tree. He's managed to rip off two of the twig balls, but one is still hanging in there after many months. He rarely has time to loiter in the lower boxes, preferring his tube-throne. We are all very happy with this tree.

Looks great and the cat's love it. I so did not want to have a rug covered cat tree in my house again. This Vesper tree looks like a piece of furniture for Cats. Delivery was good.... it arrived in one piece without any damage. It was easy to put together and the instructions helped when needed. I have had mine for 7 months and it looks brand new with some expected wear on the seagrass scratching posts The seagrass scratching post are also a big plus... better than rope easier on the cats claws and they look much nicer. But the real added bonus is you can buy replacement posts if & when they get worn out from use! All the Matts have memory foam real soft for your cats & all velcro'd on so they can be removed for washing or vacuuming. It is on the pricey side BUT WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY. It looks great, modular design makes it easy to replace worn parts, Memory foam rug pads can be removed, vacuumed & cleaned AND replaced if needed. I highly recommend this tree to EVERY Cat owner!

Terribly unstable and a complete waste of my time and money. The holes where the screws are supposed to fit are oversized, meaning the furniture cannot be assembled securely. Everytime I tried to secure the side walls to the base of the cube, the walls would simple tip over. I flipped it over thinking I did something wrong, but I got the same result. After an hour of trying all sorts of different configurations, I gave up and called my father, convinced I was doing something wrong. Nope, got it right the first time - the screw holes were simply to large to secure the walls. Before anyone doubts both of us and says we're simply idiots, I'm talking about a guy who built his own bookcases and and has assembled more than his fair share of Ikea furniture, so I'm pretty sure it was the screw holes and not us. I'm sending it back. I don't want my cats playing in a potentially dangerous cube that could collapse in a minor earthquake. I'm so disappointed because the design looked good and many people left favorable reviews, but for the price I expected at least Ikea levels of quality, and Vesper did not deliver.

My cat LOVES this perch! And I love it too. I've been searching for almost a year for an affordable, non-hideous, tall, functional, sturdy piece of cat furniture. This fits the bill on all accounts. Most pieces this attractive are at $300 and above, so I was pleased to find this one. I am a person who values a stylish home, and there's no way I was going to place a giant carpeted tower in my bedroom. It might give me nightmares! :) Enter the Vesper cat tower. Thank goodness. As I mentioned above, the unit is quite tall, but not overwhelming. My windows are 33" off the ground, and this is a perfect height my my cat to perch and look out the window. The top perch is her favorite spot in the whole house now. The one con, (my reason for 4 stars instead of 5) and it can be easily fixed, is the lack of "fur" on top of the box. My cat's previous owners declawed her (so inhumane!), and she has a tough time gripping things. When she jumps on or off the top of the box, her feet slide out because there's only that small white circle. What I think I will do is remove the white square from the inside of the box and glue to the top on the box, and just place a small sheet or blanket inside the box. Overall, a great piece of furniture. Both my kitty and I approve!

We've now had this cat tree for about a month as of the writing of this review. Our cats really enjoy it. We have two cats - one "normal" sized cat at about 9 lbs, and one much larger cat at about 18 lbs that isn't overweight, just big. The bigger cat loves to stretch his full body out on the large post to scratch. The smaller cat enjoys the two boxes, and occasionally uses them to escape from the world. The cat tree sits perfectly under a window in our living room, so our cats climb up and enjoy the view. One thing I really want to emphasize is just how nice this cat tree looks, especially for the price. The tree is made of really nice material as well and is extremely sturdy. People who visit always comment on how nice it looks in the room and inquire where we found it and how much we paid.

Lieferung ohne Probleme. Beim Aufbau habe ich etwas gekämpft. Die Beschreibung war aber gut, hin und wieder musste ich bei den Schrauben nachbessern. Ansonsten ein schönes und stabiles Teil. Sieht auch im Wohnzimmer schick aus und hält meine beiden Dickerchen gut aus.

Very stable and sturdy cat tower. I did lean this against the wall to make it more stable. The cats love to sleep on them which is great!

Et les chats aussi!! Nous vivons dans un loft et cet arbre est parfait , il suit avec notre intérieur. Il est facile à monter et robuste! Livraison très rapide. 8 mois que nous l'avons avec un autre de la même marque, et il est encore comme neuf malgré 4 chats.

Fantastic piece of cat furniture. Quite easy to put together if you watch the video instructions and very stable when put together. It looks great and the cats love it.

Franchement hésitant vu le prix! Et au final très satisfait , mes chats adore et ça change des arbres à chat affreux !
