I had a warranty issue with my monitor, which I presume was the monitor itself. It MIGHT have been the PSU of the monitor delivering a wonky current, though.The upshot of it was I shipped my barely still under warranty monitor to LG to be fixed, and they shipped it back with a NEW PSU. I marked everything to see if I got new or the same back. The monitor was the same, the PSU was not.Worse, the new PSU had been mispackaged, so was damaged in transit, with one spade jammed into the unit. I didn't dare use it. I contacted LG about it, and they had me send a picture of the damaged PSU and said they'd replace it pronto.Months later, pronto still hasn't happened.But I had already looked up a replacement "just in case" and ordered it the moment I was done talking with LG. Not because I thought I needed it, I just wanted to be sure I had one within the time frame LG had said I'd have it. Since it was late on a Friday when I talked with LG, who said I'd have the replacement PSU "early next week", I wanted to use my monitor a lot sooner than that.Its a good thing I did because LG's "next week" hasn't been any of the weeks since I talked with them. Subsequent calls have not been responded to.So this power supply is a bit of a life-saver for me. Better still, it doesn't eat up a ton of space on the power strip like the original PSU LG ships with their monitors does, making power strip management a whole lot easier. In overall design, I much prefer this PSU to the one LG includes with its monitors.I've had no problems that I can tell other than one incident when my LG screen went black for a second while gaming and my second screen (plugged into the same power strip) did not, but the LG screen came right back about a second later without further issue. I don't know what caused that but it might have been a game thing.Even if I get the new PSU from LG they owe me at some point in the future, I'll use this one because it's an overall better design for a monitor power supply.I arrived at my five star rating because it does what it's supposed to do, and doesn't get hot, smoke, melt or burst into flames while doing it. These days, that's a keeper.

As described, this power cord was compatible with my 32 inch LG monitor.

Tried to use this for my 27” LG 27UP600 and the monitor still does not turn on. It fits in the slot just doesn’t go in all the way. I didn’t see this model in the description so I took a risk. The cable turns on and works cause it shows a green light on the power adapter brick but either you need the exact cord for this thing or I have a messed up monitor. Shipping came fast. Just hope I can help anybody in my same situation. Thank you.

This product’s wattage is capable of powering said monitor but can’t be used for the monitors 144hz refresh rate or full brightness as the adapter would overheat and turn off screen. Works great for 120hz mode though. Good product but if considering for said monitor, consider the higher wattage alternatives.

The product sort of works, for a while. It gets really hot so don't use it around kids or things that might melt or catch fire.When it gets hot my monitor blinks off more and more frequently until it stops working. Then when the adapter cools down, it will work again for a short while.I will look for another adapter and may contact LG for one that is properly engineered.I do not recommend this product unless you use your monitor only once in a while for short periods of time.
