The price is better and it seems to work but less molasses smell and lighter texture. I really appreciate no plastic bag and for that reason especially I will purchase again from this source

Bokashi is a luxury compared with bought potting soil/compost
Even though I think this works, it gets only a 3 star due to the fact that it is very expensive. Using a smaller quantity does not work and to keep the bucket totally odor free means that a bag barely lasts 2 weeks. This makes for quite pricey composting. As well, the pickled compost doesn't break down 100% in the 2 weeks promised and that was an important factor for our small garden. Looking for a DIY alternative to lower the cost. Ultimately, at this price, Bokashi is a luxury compared with bought potting soil/compost and that defeats the purpose here.
