Great quality and easy to install. I installed this on a RV outside dual plug. I did apply some silicone around the edge against the RV to assure a more water resistant scenario. It does seem very water resistant, but with a foam type gasket in the Arizona heat, I wanted to insure the gasket would be more water tight and last much longer by applying a small bead around the edge of the plug cover. Be very careful not to get silicone on the cover itself, just the back base against the RV outside wall. If you do apply silicone, open the cover door to check that any silicone has not been applied to the door and if it has been applied to the door, clean if off outer door immediately to make sure the cover door opens without silicone holding it shut. It will work without silicone just fine, but I see all seals on the outside of Arizona RV take a beating due to the incredible heat we have in the summers. In the past when I washed the RV, this plug would short out until it dried. I washed the RV after install and now the plug does not short out. It was exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend

I like these, they do the job but they can really only accommodate one wire exiting whereas the receptacle is typically 2 plugs and thus potential for 2 wires - but if you want something to just use on occasion (vs permanently) this is nice because you can collapse it down and it is not ugly like some - I use this on my front porch and it looks much nicer than the one the builder installed.

An electrical inspector turned me on to these. The electrical supply store by my house does not sell them. I have always used the Plastic bubble type cover when a outlet is exposed to the elements. I have never liked them because the one support arm on the cover would break off and that would be the end of that cover working correctly. The Hubbell ML450W and the Hubbell Taymac ML450G are way better. They lay flat and extend outward when needed like an accordion. With these covers you never have to worry about the landscaper breaking them, or if thier located near a pathway. A must have.

This outlet cover is a great replacement for the old "flip up" style outlet covers. Very easy to install, will take about 5 minutes.

I actually purchased this one for a new house. I bought one 2 years ago for my old house, and it was great. The face holds firmly closed, and the gasket when it's expanded showed no signs of leaks after 2 years.

These have been a great replacement for my older style boxes. One Issue I have had is that the weatherproof seal could be thicker and wider. These boxes did not seal completely against my fiberboard siding (especially with the round jboxes). I would also like to see the cord mouth be a little wider to accommodate two extension cords better. I was able to make it work but it took some time.

Very sharp looking. When using with GFI outlets, you can see the status lights through panel. The panel also lets you know if wasps have taken up residence. When not in use they collapse flat and are out of the way.

Simple screw installation, it accommodates even the bulky plugs I have to use in one location. It has protected through a number of heavy rains and storms. Better to use than the outdoor outlet cover plates that are available.
