Flawless by Gabrielle Union - Hydrating Detangling Hair Shampoo, 8 OZ

I've tried numerous other products (shampoos, conditioners, curl cream, scalp treatments) and THIS IS IT for me! I stopped trying to find perfection because something always seemed to fall below my standards - this line is 100% perfect for me. I'm of mixed race (black and Japanese). Curly, coarse, shoulder-length hair at the moment. The scent is light and not fake (smells like cucumber to me). I use a quarter sized dollop of the shampoo compared with shampooing 3-4 times with other shampoos. It has a light slip - a nice balance that doesn't feel like a bunch of ingredients are left in my hair. I purchased the scalp treatment and that was also amazing! Prior to using this line, I had contact dermatitis. After using the scalp treatment, I no longer have tiny patches of dry skin on my scalp. I dotted it onto to areas that usually get a little itchy (area behind my ears) and I gently massaged it in. The scent was light and the tingly feeling abated the itchiness. I love this line of products! I've been telling my other curly hair friends and family about it. I'd write more but I gotta go!

I'm not sure if I like this or not. It's funny because when I use it to wash my hair, it makes it feel totally stripped and matted. However when I put conditioner on to comb my hair after my comb slides right through like butter. It confuses me because I'm not really sure if it's the shampoo or conditioner combined with the fact bleaching has completely relaxed my natural curls to where they don't exist anymore.

LOVVVE IT! My daughter has type 3 hair and by the end of the week, her hair reverts back to its more natural curl. This brand loves her hair very soft and easy to tame, even by the end of the week! The only thing I wish is that the shampoo would lather more easily. I have to use more to get a good enough lather since her hair craves moisture.

I ordered Gabrielle Union's 'Flawless' line of hair products this week and I am beyond delighted with the results. I bought the oil, the shampoo, the leave in conditioner and the heat protectant. My hair has never been easy to flat iron or straighten, and when I did so it would usually be left brittle and straw like. With these products however, It is almost like my hair has been healed. I was able to straighten it fast and afterwards, it was so soft and shiny and healthy looking. Even my split ends don't look split anymore. I got all 4 products in a box for under $40. I'm never going back to other products now.

The shampoo is very moisturizing, light and has an excellent scent.
