Currie Technologies Men's eZip Eco-Ride-2 SLA Electric Bicycle

I've been using the bike for almost a week now and i have to say I'm very happy with it. I use it to take my kids to school (about 100lbs combined + my own 200lbs) with one kid on the back seat and the other in a double trailer. It's a 5.1 miles round trip and the battery holds the whole way using PAS mode most of the time. I'm not going on 100% flat surface, there are some small hills on the way so it's safe to say the battery could last even a little longer.My only problem was that the derailleur by the rear wheel got pushed in during shipping (they should protect that more) and now it make a noise. I'm sure I can fix it by moving the derailleur around.Very comfortable ride, soft seat and overall a great experience.

The assembly process is sort of nerve racking (because some components seem dubious at first), and a small plastic covering piece near the throttle arrived broken, but once the bike was put together, it pleasantly surprised me. It's quick and functions up and down steep hills for miles and miles.The battery has conflicting charging instructions, one which requires breaking in the battery with a few complete drains and recharges, and one that requires immediate charging after each use following initial charge and warns against letting the voltage fall too low.It says that battery is good for 200 charges. Time will tell.The frame is strong and heavy. The rack on the back feels very strong. With all the weight, it rattle on bumps, but for smooth roads, it's great.

This bike is a very good deal. The electric motor is separate from the hub and it is not the hub "brushless" motor as seen on other bikes. The motor is small and powerful and is mounted on a bracket near the rear sprocket with a jackshaft and small chain driving the rear wheel. The battery is new and maintains its charge for 2 days. This bike is used daily for 2- "5 mile" commutes. The bicycle portion is well made as to fit and finish. It's price of around $500. is about 1/2 of the price, (or less) for bikes with a brushless motor. It has only been a month but it is used daily by my son for his work commute and has held up well with no problems. I would recommend it for a friend or anyone that needs this type of transportation.

My second bike from this company my first is a etrailz in black with flatter handle bars and this one is much better

this is the best ever I had since my first laptop.i bought this bike because i have 2 miles distance from my apartment to work. i was considering a scooter but i wanted more earth friendly. i have two uphills to MY work so i can't use regular bike because it's just too much work for me. and this electric bike powered by heavy SLA battery helps me with going uphills with ease. i love and love it. EVERYONE SHOULD GET ELECTRIC BIKE AND FEEL THE AIR AND MORE. i just feel young every time i ride this bike. it's also good for anyone who have bad knees because it doesn't require lifting your butt to push and go. you have TAG button to push and go without use of pedal. JUST TRY AND YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.

The bike looks and rides great. It is too big for me 5'9

Thought it would have more power to help on hills.
