Incredible NEW product, I happen to like this one! I
I like the two colors, the UVlight is typical in these low cost kits... BUT IT WORKS. I use the black liquid for electrical cable work. Hint, if you have a power cord "boot" where an electrical cord exits a tool or appliance... IF it starts to "crack" do a TEMPORARY repairs to the boot with the black.UV until you can replace the boot. Yes, I do boot replacements. And remember as with ALL these UV kits, the UV light HAS TO BE ABLE TO "SEE" THE PLASTIC liquid. IF you put ANY of these plastic products "between" a joint and the plastic is "hidden"...well don't blame Desi$&x. The UV light has be able to penetrate "see" the plastic. TRY "chamfering" your joint or crack... THEN fill with UV plastic and set up with the UV light. If in doubt READ THE DIRECTIONS. After all this type product is fairly new to the market so give it a break. Hint #2, I heard that IF YOU HAVE A DEEP JOINT that your "sticking" together. Put your liq. plastic between the joint DONT ATTEMPT TO SET IT YET, stick your pieces together AND NOW PUT A FEW "TACK STICHES" to hold it together THEN LEAVE THE WHOLE ITEM OUT IN THE SUN RAYS (UV light) and see how that works, give it a days time. See my pics, this is a CHEAP plastic spoon that I have "super'ed" a bit. It didn't/never did! hold. Applied Black plastic UV FRONT, BACK and on the FRONT LIP of the spoon where it had cracked, it's been usable for over a month now. BTW, the third pic is the front edge of the spoon, split 1/2" This is the part that takes the heat when using. I could of "nail filed" these joints down a bit but this was an experiment, VOILA! I SAVED A CHEAP KITCHEN SPOON!

Glue worked fine but UV light didn't work
Used to repair nut on one of my guitars. The glue worked fine but I had to use an Ultraviolet flashlight to "set" the glue since the UV light that came with the kit did not work. It's not worth the hassle to return since I already had a UV flashlight.

This stuff it a good idea but is a terrible product in reality
The metal tubes fall out of the end, the plastic does get hard with the ultraviolet light, but if you're trying to join to parts that have broken you can't put itjust on the broken surfaces as the UV light can't get to it to harden the glue so you have to layer a whole lot on the outside to make the parts stick together, then after it dries hard you test it to see if it is stuck together and it breaks again. This stuff it a good idea but is a terrible product in reality. Don't even waste your money on this type of product!

The applicators are precise without creating any waste. The light is small and focused
BluFixx Light Cure Repair lived up to its promise. As soon as the package was delivered, after reading that the light didn't need battery installation, just a safety ring removal at the tip, I used the black to quickly repair a crack in the thinnest spot on my Otter Box (<3mm bar at the charge port). I roughed up with sand paper and cleaned with alcohol, as I had read in reviews. I was worried when the first attempt didn't hold, but the 2nd layer held up well and the black matches the phone case. I then used the clear on a crack in a pair of plastic sunglasses. Again, the first layer didn't hold, but the 2nd layer did. The applicators are precise without creating any waste. The light is small and focused. This product is great for small repairs. So much better than super glue, in that you don't have to hurry to cover the tip, or hurry to mend your pieces, or clamp for an extended period, or glue your fingers to your repair! I'll be searching for more repairs to be made with this quick, easy, and effective product.

It looked like a well built product but the first time I ...
It looked like a well built product but the first time I used it the light wouldn't stay on, poor design. After taking it apart and holding the batteries to make contact I was able to make my repairs. The stuff actually works good and is easy to use. I will try another brand next time I need to repair something and hope the light has a better design.

Not too bad but not perfect either
This product worked pretty well for me. I was able to get many projects done correctly. It does have a bit of drying time to wait for, a clamp of some sort would be a great idea to have when you go to do a project. But it does a fairly good job but it was hard to trust when others can do a better job.

Great for hard to fix or unusual repairs.
I was very impressed with the cure time and versatility of the BluFixx solution. It works exceptionally well when you need to apply glue to an outside surface of an item. Because the curing of the glue requires UV light it isn't ideally suited for repairs that require glue in a place that is completely covered up when broken pieces are joined because the UV light can't get to that area to cure the glue. Having said that this product has been indispensable in handling some tricky repairs. I have an android watch that has a plastic bezel around the face of the watch that was cracked. I had even lost a small piece of the plastic bezel. I used BlueFixx to both repair the cracks but also fill in the missing piece of plastic. I was pleased to find that the glue that dries black was a perfect match. My watch doesn't look repaired it looks normal because it matched perfectly. I have used this glue to fix a number of household items including some wireless headphones that I never thought would stay fixed. I highly recommend having some of this on hand at all times. --Bob

Good in just the right situations, but not for everything.
For one, it light activates very easily. Like even indirect sunlight will kick it off. So plan to be inside or cover over where you're working with dark tarps/blankets or it will firm up before you can even get them together. Also, doesn't adhere to many surfaces. Like smooth surfaces (even when roughed up with fine sandpaper), some plastics or metals. Also, if you can't get light exposure to more than just the edge, the inner areas won't harden up properly. However, it is awesome for adhering things to glass when they need fine positioning. You can apply it, squeeze it out super thin (so it is very clear and has no bubbles), then just let the light hit it and "bam!", locked in place.
