Bathtub to Shower Conversion Kit with Pan Liner & Square Drain SSCK-701D ULTRA "GOOF PROOF SHOWER"

Looking at the product you really question is it worth the money. When you look at the full picture of having a shower pan that you won't have to stress about the mold issues, it is so worth it. If you are a DIYer this is perfect, this was our first shower pan install for a 6' x 3.5' shower with an off center drain. I went to Mark E Industries website and emailed him directly to ask him questions on certain things that I did not understand about the install and he was fast to respond and very helpful. This kit came with everything, though you will want to measure your curb to make sure it is 60" long. We have an L-shape curb on ours so we had to buy two extra curb pieces. They worked out great and had a perfect slope that we don't have to worry about water settling on top of the curb. When installing the pan liner you will want to pull tight on the inside of the curb, this was a little difficult and we had a little excess in the inside corners, which we had to compensate by cutting more of the bottom off of the Kurb Perfect piece in the corner so we would still have the slope we wanted. Also, if you are doing a bench, make sure you get an extra pan liner to be able to go up the wall 6-12" above the back side of where the bench will be. Other than that it was very easy to install and couldn't really screw up the slope with the help of the guides. I do recommend buying the Sand and Portland Cement separately rather than spending a lot more on premix stuff that may have a 3 to 1 ratio and try to stay between a 4 to 1 or a 5 to 1 ratio, you will be happy with the results!

Great product, super easy even a nurse (female) can do it! I have done a shower pan/liner in the past and struggled with the pitch and measuring along the walls. Kit had EVERYTHING I needed. Great customer service as weep hole ring arrived with some cracks in plastic, sent an email and a new one was one the way in 24 hours!

If you can follow simple instructions and are handy at all, you can do this!

This was the first shower pan that I've installed and everything went well. If you follow the instructions and DVD it's relatively easy. I bought the kit that had all the extension kits and only use a little from them so I had a lot of wasted material. Probably could have done the job without them, but since this was the first time using the kits, I wanted to make sure I had what I needed before I started. Over all, the kits take a lot of guessing and time measuring out of the project.

this kit is so awesome. yes it might be alittle expensive. but worth every penny. i have not done a shower from tub conversion before. but the directions and videos were easy to follow. every question from an email i have asked the president has gotten back to me in a super timely manner. thanks!

Comes with the square drain but had no quick pitch center to allow you to use that drain....need to order part QPUCR-108 in order to be able to install. There should have been some note of this not just on the box when delivered.
