HVAC installer needed.
i am running this unit in a large grow room with 12-1000 watt lights in it. it cools the room just fine, at full blast, it came within a week right to my house without a scratch on it, i just got around to installing it. I was able to install this unit myself calling an electrician to do the connection. I could have done that myself. they bill this out as a do-it-yourself NO HVAC INSTALLER NEEDED.DO NOT BE FOOLED, unless you have a 500 dollar vacuum pump and all the gauges, you DO IN FACT NEED AN HVAC installer.you must vacuum purge the lines before you turn the coolant on. once i did this it is running just fine. it is pulling out alot of moisture and exchanging heat no problem. i gave it 4 stars because you do need an HVAC installer to vacuum purge this unit.ok its been running since i posted this comment, but last night it took a crap, idk whats wrong with it yet but the HVAC repairmen are coming in 2 hrs, i will update this as i get the info......i am busting it down to 2 stars for this......it is december 19th, and i posted this in september, thats how long it ran until it needed repaired. I will update this post as soon as i know whats wrong with it.ok i just heard back from Hydro Galaxy, they say to send it back to amazon for warranty service, so if your using it in any professional way, your just screwed.buyer be warned, this unit cannot be worked on by normal HVAC, they cannot get parts for it. about all they can do is charge it and vacuum purge it.
