Designed to protect a RNA or DNA sample from cross-contamination, contamination from the room and from the operator during its amplification, these workstations are equipped with a blower and a H14 HEPA filter. It utilizes a vertical laminar air flow pattern: the air from the room flows through the filter and is blown into the enclosure. This prevents any DNA or RNA present in the room from contaminating the DNA or RNA sample. The air is ejected towards the operator, preventing user contamination even when the operator’s hands are introduced within the enclosure. A U.V. Lamp controlled by a timer is used to Decontaminate the enclosure with C.U.V. Rays between two successive PCR experiments to avoid cross-contamination. What's included: HEPA filter, UV light, work surface, an 8 ft (2.4) cord with plug. Protects against DNA/RNA contamination from the operator and lab includes 304L stainless steel work surface and filters for all workstations ISO level 5 protection.
