good design, nice lights
The keyboard is designed so that it is quite easy to clean. Most keyboards have the keys set in a frame that can catch crumbs and dust. These keys are standing apx 1/4" off of a flat base level with no frame around the keys, so if you use a can of air to blow the keyboard, everything under the keys blows out very easily. Otherwise it's a standard keyboard with some slight graphic changes like boldly printed WASD keys. Also the arrow keys on the right are more boldly printed with a small WASD on the corresponding arrow key. I like the backlighting a lot and I'm sure it's a big help if you play in a darkened room. It has three colors to pick from, which is fun. I haven't had it long enough to know about durability but it seems solid enough so far. I got it as a daily deal so the price was right.

Love this keyboard, and I've tried several
Really nice keyboard, especially when you find it under $15. This is the third brand I've tried in 2 weeks, and it's the clear winner. Touch and key travel is very good, and sound is very quiet. (I've not heard any squeaks that another reviewer complained about.) Illumination is subtle, changeable among 3 colors, and intensity can be set to any of 5 levels (plus off, of course). The keys *are* illuminated -- i.e., the light shines through the keys. All function keys work just as they should. There are flip-down legs in the back to provide a slight angle, and rubber pads to keep it from sliding around. My only (very) minor complaint is the branding sticker: It's too darn large. But that's trivial. Overall, this is an excellent keyboard and an even more excellent value.

Good Keyboard - Large Enter Key - Backlights Worthless
I like the keyboard mainly because it is so hard to find one with the large Enter key . Keystroke enty is fine, not clicks which is good. I selected this model because of the backlit keys. The keys are backlit but no light shines through the keys labeling. So the back lighting makes it harder to read the letters/numbers than when the back lighting is off.

A great value for a keyboard that looks and performs over it's price.
This keyboard is what most have been waiting for. High performance at a very very reasonable rate.Ok, the lights alone make this one pretty attractive by a simple search. Bright, ambient lighting of the keys are this keyboards' best attributes at first glance. However, the keyboard itself performs very well, with a smooth keystroke and better overall feel over a standard keyboard. The keys are elevated, which in turn gives you better feel of what you are actually pressing. I'm not a hardcore gamer, but this keyboard certainly seems like it could perform just as well as some others that are likely to damage your wallet much more. I have used it with certain FPS games and love it.The only drawback so far that I can notice is that every time I press the space bar, there is a bit of a "squeak". Not too loud or anything, but after awhile you will notice it. Certainly a small setback for this item considering the cost.Overall, for your hard earned dollar, this keyboard will definitely suit your every day needs. As for gaming, I'm sure it is a very viable option as opposed to high end keyboards which cost much more. Probably good in a pinch for even the high skilled gamers who make a living and/or game all day. 9/10

Does not work with KVM, but types fine, very quiet, very low cost.
This keyboard is a PS/2 keyboard with a PS2 to USB converter built in. It looks like a USB-only keyboard, but it shows up as a PS/2+USB device instead of a USB HID device.Hitting control, control, number, enter simply does not work. I can type okay, but it simply will not work with a KVM since it does not send keystroke information the same way as a pure-USB keyboard. The keyboard itself is a membrane style. It has high resistance to start, and a rapid, quiet bottom-out. The key shaft is designed such that the keys have a very stable feel, and good travel. It "feels" like a decent quality mechanical keyboard on initial use. It FEELS like a hard, silent click. Impressive for a membrane keyboard. It's not quite the same, but it's good enough. The backlight can be red-only, or it can fade/cycle through red, green, amber. You cannot set it to just stay green nor just amber. No adjustment of the timing for the cycle. The steps for the backlight brightness are good, allowing you to zero in on the brightness you want. It's not super bright, so default won't blind you in a dark room. It's very readable in normal office light too.The price of this is amazing for how it feels, but you could never use this in a full-on datacenter due to lack of proper HID signalling. It's fine for a normal desk though.

I like it for word processing better than my laptop keyboard
I purchased this keyboard so I could raise my laptop to eye level when using it at home and it is working out nicely. The keys are raised and make a slight click when touched. I like this because I know I hit a key correctly and I can type along fast and accurately. I have to use 1 finger typing on my laptop because the keys are so flat its easy to slide to the wrong one.I like the blue backlight. It can be turned on and off and also dimmed. The package came quickly from the vendor and it was packaged very securely.I can't really comment about fast gaming but I think for the price it is a good deal for office type work.
