So far on intial test fit and visual it seems to work really good and will nake up for that odd dimension very nicely

Better than duravent
seals great. looks good. best quality and i have used them all. my fathers smaller stove w/duravent piping leaks soot into the house. REQUIRED high temp RTV. Selkirk piping worksflawlessly! no mods needed!

Doesn't fit the Selkirk 3" thimble.
I got a Selkirk 3" thimble and this 3" adjustable pipe and I had to bend and crimp the adjustable pipe to get it through the opening in the thimble. What a pain. You would think that the same company that makes these two components would make them compatable with each other.
