Inexpensive and works
This product is inexpensive and is a lifesaver when you’re carrying your skis and poles. It holds them together when you’re storing them on a rack at a ski resort. Makes carrying them much easier, and if you loosen it up to the widest setting, you can carry across body.

Great for Alpine Skis, but for XC skis make an adjustment
I bought this to help carry my xc (cambered) skis, but after buying it I realized how the straps work is my ski bases would rub against each other (feels like nails on a chalkboard). Still though, I really like the product and how easy it is to store when not in use and the bag it comes with. To rectify the issue of the cambered ski bases, I bought a few velcro ski straps (around $10 for six of them), and used those to secure the skis together at the tips and tails. Once those straps were secured, I was able to place this product on the skis no problem. Works great and would recommend, just know if you are using this for xc skis be sure to buy ski straps too. I’ll post a link to the ones I bought

Made for Convenience.
Haven't tried it out under actual conditions yet as I purchased it at the end of the season, however the construction appears to be good and the loops fit comfortably over my 100mm waist pow skis. In any case, it'll be more convenient to carry my gear this way than juggling the separate items by hand.

Good value - solid materials, simple but durable design and easy to adjust
The media could not be loaded. Of the low cost options out there, this one stands out in terms of quality materials. The webbing is very wide and solid construction. I like some other products this one keeps the design simple (no snap clasps, hinges shoulder pads etc). It’s just sewn webbing and Velcro. The stitching seems well done (eye x in box attaching ski straps to should strap and double box attaching ski pole Velcro). All the plastic has decent material thickness that should last similar to what I would expect on big duffles and backpacks (some cheap products use super thin and flimsy plastic that will most certainly break).

Go with Bowtie or Sklon or Volk.
I frequently take my kids to the mountain so I want to make the equipment haul to the lifts and ski school easier. There are a lot of straps on the market so I decided to try out four by putting them on my and my kids' skis at home. Overall Bowtie was the simplest, most compact, and will probably be easiest for my kids to use. Sklon and Volk, unlike Bowtie, separated the skis from the poles and were virtually identical except Sklon had a padded strap and Volk had a slightly thinner, rubberized strap. I would recommend any of the three, depending on your needs. YSST did less of a good job separating the skis from the poles and I found positioning the skis and poles into the Velcro straps to be more difficult so I’m not recommending it compared to the others.I am guessing at durability since I've only tried them at home. These are the winners of the four I tried (based on design and ease of use) with different use cases:Simplest / Quickest: Bowtie.Easiest for young kids: Bowtie. I decided to get a second pair for my youngest. Most compact: Bowtie. If you have to carry it in a coat pocket all day after getting to the hill, this is the one I suggest.Best at protecting poles: Volk / Sklon (Tie): both of these nearly identical straps is designed with a separate strap that keeps your poles away from your skis. The Bowtie doesn't do this, but if you tighten it well and just have a short walk to the hill hand-carrying it, it is probably not a big concern. I went with the Sklon for my own planks / poles.Best for hand-carrying: Bowtie. The Sklon and Volk each have a large buckle that prevents fully centering the carry strap at its most compact, which is a minor annoyance.Best for shoulder carrying with the skis vertical: Sklon (if you like a padded strap) / Volk if you like a thinner rubberized tactile strap contacting the shoulder.I hope this was helpful! Enjoy the mountains!
