Wooden Flatware Set, Natural and Health 12-Piece Wooden Utensils, Service for 4

This is my most favorite flatware ever. I've tried many variations: ss, silver, silver-plate, porcelain. This one is by far the best since it doesn't alter the flavor of my food, is toxin-free & made from a completely renewable resource, and is simple to wash with soap & water. The wood & construction are both high quality and they function well!! Hooray!!!!!!Thanks to Akcook for this fabulous product.PS I do use lots of turmeric and it leaves the slightest stain. If this is you, it definitely blends in well/ creates a faint yellowish hue. Turmeric is the only thing I've found to alter the color ever-so-slightly. The ONLY (natural) substance so far, and they still look great.

These are great! They're beautiful, strong and incredibly light. I was afraid that the forks would be flimsy and fragile, the spoons shallow and the knives completely ineffectual, but they're actually the exact opposite. The spoons have an interesting lip on them and are equivalent to a proper tablespoon, the forks are shockingly thick, sharp and seem unbreakable, and the knives are durable enough to saw right through an overcooked chicken breast. The light finish on them makes for easy washing as well. Definitely recommend. I'm even purchasing a second set!

These are beautiful...well made and look great with not only with a casual dinner setting, but with more formal. They are sturdy and the knives work as well as any stainless I have had in the past. The only draw back, you must hand wash, the dishwasher would ruin the finish, if that is an issue for you don't buy them. I will purchase more so I can have a 12 place setting.

I like it. I was a bit skeptical about the knife but it cuts. The knife seems to be a step up from a butter knife; you can cut fruit like oranges but you might be better off with something else if cutting a pineapple. I'm switching to a more natural lifestyle and I'm glad I made the decision to get this. The utensils look just like the metal ones in terms of shape and form. They do well with cooked foods. Obviously don't soak them. After I eat I put hem to the side and later wipe them until clean. They have no coating or glaze on them they're just really light, smooth,0 wooden utensils.

The knifes are a totally different color and the wood is cheap. Now I wish I didn't spend my money :(

The product is described as natural, and not using common chemicals like a lacquer or shellac, and I am sure for a time that was true. However it is not true now. Any company will bounce around using different manufacturers, its simply a number game to get the best price. Sometimes unbeknown to the manufacturer, unapproved processes and materials are used, however it is the company's responsibility to manage their supply chain to make sure the product is what they say it is to their customers.The spoons are the only ones that have the lacquer coating, and it is clear in appearance and smell. You can even see the brush strokes from its brush application. The smell from opening the bag is pretty intense, like uncured lacquer.Great for decoration, but I would not eat with them, any more than I would off of a lacquered piece of wood furniture. I hope most people got the lacquer free version, as it is advertised.

This is a nice product so long as you do not put it through the dishwasher!! It is NOT dishwasher safe. My set because brittle and started breaking with the slightest of pressure after a few uses. I’m sure if you handwash them they will stay beautiful.

Oh my goodness I just absolutely love this set! I’ve been looking for a bamboo flatware set for my family but everything was ei5er a single set or not great reviews. These are awesome! They are fully functional, so easy to clean and smooth! They are smooth as can be so it’s not like weird feeling. I am so happy I found these and they’ve made my dream of going green complete!
