I would not recommend. I put the lobster clasp on a gold chain and it was tarnished by the second day? I know its not gold filled or anything so i dont expect it to last me a lifetime. But one day is just too short lived for me.

These jump rings are so thick! I make polymer clay earrings and was looking for a big set of jump rings. These are fine for sturdier, thicker designs, but definitely not little delicate ones. I ended up getting another set elsewhere for that. I’ll probably still use them all, but I wish I had known how thick they were.Also, the gold is very yellow. Just FYI.

I bought very low price items to make jewelry for a yard sale as costume jewelry sells like crazy and increases your traffic. And it worked great! I made necklaces for an extremely low price and didn't even want to make a profit from them but I sure did. Little girls loved the butterfly and heart chams!!So these items aren't the best quality but they were exactly what I was looking for. Actually the jump rings are good enough for making my own jewelry as they are very strong.

I have to say the price is right for this item, but the quality is not quite up to par. Thanks Amazon for letting me return it, and I'll look for another higher quality kit. The actual tools are fine, but to me the "rings" are useless. Again, not the best kit, but the pliers themselves seem good enough.

They're quite weak. You don't need much force to bend them. They're also more yellow than gold colored. Also the box they came in was cracked.

These are a decent gauge. Not overly heavy but acceptable. The ends are cut flat so they don't close tight like the angled cut ones. They also don't lay flat when closed. They're... wavy, for lack of a better word. We used them as halo's and they did not set level on the pearl angel heads.

My daughter got this as a starter kit for learning how to make jewelry. It came with all the required elements and is a great kit with all the necessary tools for doing what she wanted to do. When she runs out of pieces I am sure another will be ordered.
