48v 20ah Lithium Polymer Battery with Charger, BMS for EBike. This is a top quality factory manufactured battery under very strict production controls, not some run-of-the-mill backyard self-assembled battery pack. Highly durable and reliable with ABS Battery Protection Casing with proper sealing, not some cheap simple heat-shrunk PVC wraps. This battery is designed for high-drain devices like electric bikes, electric scooters etc... Modular casing design. Protection system: Internal BMS Installed. Almost a kWh in a Lunch Box!
Shipping took over three weeks, but it was worth the wait. The battery is protected in a tough plastic case that features a folding handle and a deadbolt style latch with two keys. There are two connectors that are wired in parallel. The larger one is a modular power cord type jack and the provided charger's output cord mates with it. I replaced my Cub Cadet cordless electric lawnmower's four series connected 12V, 9Amp-hour absorbed glass mat lead-acid batteries with this single 20Ah Li-Po unit. I can now mow my 1/3 acre lawn with a single charge, which the original batteries could never do! I measured 54.4V on the battery after the charger's LED changed from red to green. The charger puts out about 2 amps until the battery's voltage reaches 54.4V, then automatically switches to constant voltage mode. A fully charged LiPo cell outputs 4.2V, so there must be thirteen cells connected in series, or a multiple of 13 cells in series/parallel. After mowing my lawn, (about an hour) my mower's battery charge indicator showed 1/4 charge left, and I measured 47.1 Volts. My mower has a 750 Watt motor, so that's about right: 20Ah x 48V = 960Wh of capacity, and I used 750W x 1h = 750Wh or about 3/4 of the battery's capacity. The cells still had 47.1V/13cells = 3.6V across them, which is well above the 3.0V recommended lower discharge level.

this seller SUCKS. i finally got a hold of the manufacturer and corrected an issue with the BMS over the phone instead of having to send the battery all the way back to china and then back to me AT MY EXPENSE.WARNING - the battery does NOT come with fuses and the IEC female connection is used for the terminals and the battery is ungrounded as it is in a plastic case and there's nothing to ground to inside it.GET A FUSE BLOCK AND INSTALL IT ON THE CORD PRIOR TO USING - that way you don't potentially activate the BMS and have it start a timer that doesn't reset for a minute or so.the battery itself is great and the manufacturer was very helpful when i finally got a hold of them, but this seller sucks at customer service and trying to figure out what i actually needed help withproduct is NOT COMPLETE - you need a plug adapter for the charger, you'll need to order a fuse block and terminal block, and you need an IEC cord either 6' or 10' for your application

Its working now.
The battery looks good. Mine did not come with a separate battery charger. I gave it 3 stars in hopes the charger will arrive at a later date. With no charger the battery is worthless.Update: The charger came two days later by DHL express mail. It has a plug and an adapter that attaches to the battery.,The power cord end is not standard 120 VAC. It's a two prong thing that looks like the prongs that come out of a coffee pot.The input is 120 volt 240 volt.Update; I replaced the wall plug on the charger with a 120 VAC USA type. A added a box to the battery with a battery switch that feeds out to a #10 wire to power up my bike. The two outlets on the battery are connected to the 48 volt circuit,. The larger outlet is connected with a flexible #10 wire. The small round outlet is connected with a smaller #14 wire. Only two of the three pins are used 0 V and 48V, The battery charged and worked real well. The battery delivers a lot a current and has a long range. We will see how long it lasts.

This seller has concealed the manufacturer's factory date. If is not current, this could be a real lemon.
Beware .this seller has concealed the manufacturer's factory date. If the date is not current this could very well be a lemon that spent too much time on the shelf.
