My Neato Signature XV (which we have owned for years) was getting a bit tired. He cleans every other day and even after resting (charging) for a day between cleans, he would vacuum for around 8 minutes before going back for charging.For a time this was ok as it just meant he took longer to clean a room and charged in-between, but then he started running out of charge on his way back to his bed (charging station) and would then forget he was cleaning. This meant we had a nice clean border and he was getting tired before he had cleaned the middle of the room.The battery replacement process is simple (if you can work a manual screwdriver) and only requires the removal of 4 screws (on two battery panels underneath). Initially when I received the new batteries I thought the plastic shrink-wrap on the cells had skewed the cells as they are packaged in a trapezoid shape, however after removing the old batteries I realised that this is by design so that the battery pack locates in the Neato in a particular orientation, so pay attention to which end the cables come out of the pack and orient the new batteries in the same way and it's a 5 minute job to swap them over.Whilst I was changing the batteries I took the opportunity to replace the floor brush with a multifloor brush that I had bought and not fitted and gave the vacuum a general clean.Make sure you charge your Neato overnight when you replace the batteries and before you set him off to clean for the first time, and remember that it will take a few charge and discharge cycles for the batteries to stabilise.OMG what a difference it's made to Neato. He comes out and cleans the room in a few minutes on a single charge before returning to his station and even seems to be collecting more dirt than he was previously able to (I guess because he now has the power to be able to).I paid around £40 for these two replacement battery packs and I only wish I had replaced them sooner, because it has transformed how well Neato works.

Robot was complaining about its batteries being dead. I checked the supported model numbers and chose these. The batteries were easy to replace in the vacuum - just need a screwdriver. Selected the 'new battery' menu option, and left the robot to charge overnight. Worked to do a full clean downstairs the following day.

My neato is working again very happy. A while back my neato original batteries needed replacing and I bought some of a different type that was supposed to work with my model. BT I kept getting a error so went back to manual hovering. I saw these so decided to try them and had no problems at all they work perfectly so very happy to have my neato running again. It doing a great job particularly as when I bought those batteries that failed me I also fitted a new brush.These batteries made my neato like new again just need another now for upstairs.

Working fairly well. Although batteries don't quite last quite long enough for robot hoover to finish whole space. Would get more powerful batteries next time.
