You need to do a little measuring to determine where to place them on the bed rails to insure a solid fit.

The items were what I needed to setup my bed.

Old bed is now sleep-able
The local bed stores wanted to sell me new bed rails with would require a new head board. NOOOOO way, I am not the one. With these, my old bed lives!

Mostly fit
Mostly fit my bed frame. Had to make two separate holes on my bed frame to fit it.

Bought to make a bed that did not fit the head and foot rails fit
These were metal plates with holes as shown...I got a nice head and footboard for free so I decided to try these to see if I could make them fit...they came with like 4 holes drilled in to choose from for lining up bed head board, and they did not exactly work, but I made them work by getting a 1.00 L shaped piece to go around headboard leg. For the price was fine, if your resourceful you can make them work to use a bed that has the wrong things you need (slats vs holes).

Bedframe hooks
Nice pieces of steel, however, no directions on how to place on bed rail. Had to figure out placement by guessing. All the screws stripped out with barely any pressure and now I have to buy new screws and new wood for bed rails and try again. At least I was able to temporarily get my headboard and footboard together
