Concert Dunhuang Erhu Chinese 2-string Violin Fiddle Musical Instrument

I'm no erhu expert. I don't even know how to play. I just want an erhu and maybe eventually learn how to play when I have time.Please keep this in mind when you read this review.For someone who don't know erhu, I think it is beautiful and seems to be of high quality except for the strings. It snapped when I took it out from the plastic bag. Not sure what happened. I attempted to change it out since it came with a set of strings. With no prior experience, I did it clumsily and broke one of the strings from the 2nd set. I connected the seller. They were very nice and said they would send me another set of strings.I love this erhu although I have problems with the strings. It looks nice and it is from a trusted brand. However, I wish the accessories that came with it are of better quality.* The padded carrying case is ugly and the zipper gets stuck easily. The zipper were not fully closed when I took it out of the shipping box. I guess whoever packed it could not zip it up, leaving about an 8 inch opening.*The rosin is small and hard to get it on the bow hair.*The foam dampers were squished into odd shapes which can't be used. I'm glad that they also give you 2 dampers that are made with cloth as well. I'm going to just use the cloth ones.*The "Dunhuang" brand strings that came with the erhu break easily. I am looking into buying better quality strings to replace them.
