USB to 3.5mm Jack Stereo Audio Adapter, KOOPAO 3.5mm Realtek DAC Chip External Combo Aux Headphone and Microphone Jack Converter for Headset Mac PS5 PC Laptop Windows and Linux

I connected the adapter to my Windows 10 computer the correct drivers were automatically installed. I then connected my gaming headset Headphones/Microphone Combo via the 3.5mm TRRS Jack (Tip, Ring, Ring and Sleeve) and checked my Windows Sound Settings. The Headset Headphones and Microphone were already active and functioning. The audio quality had defaulted to the maximum selectable of 24bit at 48Khz. Then I connected one of my Sony monitor Headphones via its Stereo 3.5mm TRS Jack (Tip, Ring and Sleeve) they worked perfectly. I am currently a registered developer tester for Windows 11, so I took the opportunity to test this adapter on a Windows 11 installation, the product worked perfectly. Make sure you use the correct 3.5mm Jack configuration for microphones, headphones or Combo to make it work for you. The build quality for this adapter is premium, the pricing is acceptable, so I would highly recommend it.

Bought to feed a headset out on the left side of a computer away from the mouse. The cable connector is small and doesn't affect the left hand placement when using shift/control/tab keys etc. The cable is nicely braided and looks quite robust. Cases are metal so should last a good while. The cable microphone mute triggers a speaker mute on Windows 10, but that's not a deal breaker - just odd software. No volume up/down when an iphone compatible headset controls are pressed, but I wouldn't expect this to work on a laptop. Quick delivery. Recommended.

My computer's audio-jack is broken so I needed a replacement.Sound quality is perfect, I don't experience any issues other people had like sound cutting out when they rotate the wire.Mic works. Only problem is sometimes, depending on position of wire, other people can hear what I'm listening to as if it's coming through my mic. No doubt a result of crossed-wires somewhere. But this is why Audio jacks are usually split into two cables (input and output). It's a serviceable solution.

It does exactly what is was meant to do.

When this adapter was first plugged in I wasn't sure if it would work. I didn't know if the USB connection would speak to my computer's sound system. I was so relieved it did this absolutely perfectly, without my needing to alter any settings. I now have a good sound system from the computer, where the speakers are plugged into the adapter's jack socket, and are powered from a wall plug. So simple and effective.

Not suitable but too much hassle to return. You're stuffed if you don't have a printer to print the return label and I need an appointment at my local library to do it there

It might seem a bit stiff the first time u plug in the audio jack, but then it's grand. My audio jack wasn't pushed in all the way, and so I nearly thought it was broken at first.Sometimes if the converter moves about too much while plugged in, it may negatively affect the audio input or output, so keep that in mind if you'll be pulling the cord around a lot while using it.Other than these notes, this works absolutely perfectly and gives great audio input and output for my desktop without affecting the quality of the audio.

I received this item today and it seems there is a common issue with these units. If it tries to output audio of a certain loudness, it will completely crash and just output a high-pitched, ear-piercing screetching noise. I've tried several configurations of the settings, multiple headsets, usb ports, and computers with this one adapter and they all do the same. I've also tried different drivers from different sources as a last resort and, the continued error leads me to believe this is a hardware fault.It will slightly work at a mere 10% volume, anything higher causes these crashes and feedbacks. When it is at that low level, the experience was no better, as the sound was distorted and the L and R audio channels didn't work, instead it was a muffled mess across both ears.To sum up: These have a common fault. I wasted £10.00, please don't repeate my error. Just think nothing of it and go buy one of the other million options on Amazon.I hope I help at least 1 person save themselves the wasted money.
