ChiaoGoo Red Lace Circular 16 inch (41cm) Stainless Steel Knitting Needle Size US 5 (3.75mm) 7016-5

This is my 5th or 6th ChiaoGoo circular purchase. Made the first one after an extensive search for a circular needle on Amazon. These circulars, even the 40" ones, uncoil easily from the storage pouch they come in and straighten themselves out and do NOT try to rewind into a circle. These are the BEST CIRCULAR NEEDLES EVER! And I'm gradually replacing all my old circulars with ChiaGoos on an "as needed" basis.

Ease of use

Super fast shipping and these have become my go-to circs for their smooth sharp points and extremely flexible cables.

High quality needles and worth every penny. I love that the cord doesn't twist but is still flexible and comfortable. The join is smooth - your yarn won't ever get caught, just glides over easily and well connected so they won't break. The needles have the perfect tip, not too sharp or dull. This is the only kind of needle I buy now.

It seemed like a good idea to buy these needles, but after using them for the first half of my project I've had to buy a different set. I found them difficult to use without fatigue in my hands, especially my thumbs, as I have some arthritis in them. I think the source of the problem is that the needles are straight. If they were slightly curved at the end where they meet the plastic cord, it would help. This was my conclusion based on the fact that I'm using a different set that does have this curve, and have had much less difficulty and pain. For someone who doesn't have arthritis in their hands, this would be a great buy.

These are just super knitting needles. What else can I say? Exceeded my expectations and wish I had found them years ago! Highly recommend.

These needles are nicely made. Join where the cord meets the needles is smooth and will not catch the yarn.

I usually buy Addi or Addi lace but the price is a bit of a bummer. I decided to give these a try.The join with the needle and the cable is excellent, smoother than with the Addi. There is no snagging or stitches getting stuck where the needle meets the cable. The needles are just as pointy as the Addi lace and just as smooth. The tips are nice and sharp, perfect for cabling and lace work. I'm a tight knitter so fine pointed tips are a must. I've been knitting a hat with them for a few hours and I'm extremely happy. I actually like the cable better on these - no curling or kinks.The price makes these extremely attractive for those on a budget. You can buy two for the price of one set of Addi. The biggest downside is they are made in China vs Germany on the Addi. These are a great value for someone just starting a circular needle collection.
