Very awesome looking Truck
I gave this as a Christmas gift and was disappointed with the accuracy of the steering control.I was also disappointed with the length of battery charge life.

5 star. Cant complain.
Car came fast. This car is pretty fast. I used to race nitro cars and this beats a tmaxx with a .27 in it. Been bashing it for a week and havent broke anything. Buy this car, its 100% awesome.

The truck itself is not bad, it's pretty good for an entry- level truck
Bought a brushed Ruckus 2wd several years ago. The truck itself is not bad, it's pretty good for an entry- level truck. The ESC and Transmitter aren't that great though. The transmitter is very cheap, and the esc just didn't feel like it was up to the job, and seemed very voltage sensitive. My daughter was a little young for it, and finally destroyed the stock body. A few months ago I put a new ProLine body on it, and swapped in an old forward only Tekin esc, and now it's a lot of fun, and fairly durable. I wish they would sell this as a kit, minus the electronics. I still like to build my cars, and the builder could install his/her equipment and have a decent brasher for not a lot of money. Now that my daughter can handle it, and the reliability is up, it's a lot of fun.

Buy something you can get parts for.
Do not attempt to upgrade this truck. It is a money pit it you put a brushless motor in it axles will snap left and right, if you want to find upgrade axles good luck you will need to find Traxxas parts and hope they fit. These are just not worth it for the money.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
I bought this truck just to have some fun in my yard, and I can't even drive the thing. I bought it on Saturday and charged the battery and ran it once, Sunday I did the same and had no problems recharged the batteries came back out and hooked it up and it wouldn't move. After two days of looking on the internet I finally realized that one of the wires was broken going to the motor (broke inside the wire casing so it looked like it was sill connected). So after I soldered that, got it going then the drive gear wasn't engaging, so here we go again took it apart and the set screw had fallen out. Finally fixed and ready I set out and it ran great, charged the battery again went to plug it in and the plug cracked and the leads popped out. Just got that fixed and drove it for 30 seconds and the other wire to the motor is now broken, again inside the wires casing. After that I said I need to write a review to warn people about this rc, I have now had it for a week and haven't been able to get through 3 battery charges. I don't know if I got a lemon or if all are prone to break down every 2 seconds, but BUYER BEWARE that if you buy this you may be spending a lot of money and a lot of time fixing this truck
