Having had difficult frizzy hair all my life I'd given up with the traditional straighteners and succumbed to tying my hair back all day every day and hated it. Once in a blue moon I'd experience straight smooth hair when spending HOURS at the mirror to have it all undone the second I went outside or even touched my hair, by putting a top over my head when getting dressed. This arrived and I opened it at 3am as soon as I got in from work, I was so excited to see if it was any good. I spent less than 5 minutes sat on the sofa (without a mirror) "having a go" thinking I'd do it properly in the morning. The ease of use is the second point really because the results were incredible! My hair that was dull and permanently looked a mess and sticking out like a ring around my face is now straight, smooth and feels amazing. I've not chosen to wear my hair tied back since I bought this brush, and that is really saying something. Colleagues and friends cannot believe the difference. I can't believe the difference. I actually LOVE my hair! I use this brush every day and it takes about 3 minutes! I have hair well below shoulder length and use the 4th hottest setting. The ONLY negative is sometimes you can turn it off accidently whilst using it as the power button is at the top of the handle but it stays hot for long enough to get my hair finished anyway! I guess there is one more negative, I didn't find it and buy it sooner! You need a mat or holder to stand it on as the sides get too hot to be put on a surface.

So easy to use, one pass on 4C hair and that’s all you need :)

Ordered this after seeing an online video review as it looked like a good option for my hair type and I’m always looking to speed up my styling routine! It came with a sturdy UK plug fitted and also has a swivel cord which makes a huge difference to ease of use. I have medium thickness, very wavy, sometimes frizzy hair that is about shoulder length at the moment. The temperature of the brush is as hot as any flat irons I’ve used and I found that heat number 3 was adequate for me ( my hair was flipping hot to touch!). I do agree with the reviews that say it’s easy to accidentally hit the temp controls and that’s definitely something to be careful of. I don’t need my hair to be completely straight so one pass over gave me a good result, and no frizz, as it replicates the method of using a comb and flat iron together The brush can take bigger, thicker sections so I was able to do half head in well under 10mins which is half the time it usually takes! If I just wanted to touch up the lengths of my hair I probably wouldn’t need to section at all! One thing I found made a big difference was holding onto the end of the hair as you run the brush through it. This gives a little bit of tension and keeps the hair flat against the plate. The brush is never going to give you that poker straight look, but for an everyday hair tool it’s really good and I’m not disappointed with it at all. Also this one is half the cost of the other “brand” and looks identical, so I really can’t imagine what else you would get for the extra cost.

The brush is smaller than I expected, yet the "teeth" section that grips your hair is still large enough that it can straighten bigger sections of hair in one pass than my traditional straighteners can! Reading other reviews I thought this brush would be ridiculously heavy and uncomfortable to use but it is not at all. Whilst it's a little heavier than my normal straighteners, it's not cumbersome and the weight adds a quality feel to the product. It heats up quickly and I was able to straighten my long, fine hair on the second heat setting in a couple of minutes on the very first use. Having watched videos of people using this type of styler, I followed their advice and brushed from underneath each section rather than holding the brush over. This allows a little volume to be added and ensured the hair didn't fall out of the teeth. I have not struggled with burning my scalp although I do think it would be possible if you had this on the highest heat setting and were not being careful. As long as my hair is well brushed, this is so quick and easy to use - giving a straight, lasting finish to my hair. I'll be ditching my normal straighteners from now on and sticking with this brush, I love it. The biggest negative for me is the short cable, this makes it a bit tricky to position myself near a mirror, but I'll work around this given how easy and quick the brush is to use. Pros: -Quicker than straighteners - more hair can be straightened in one section and you can run this through in a faster stroke than straighteners due to the way it grips the hair. -Can straighten my hair on a lower temperature than I was able to with a straightener. -Swivel cord for ease of use. -Fast to heat up. -Really easy to use if you place the brush under the hair rather than over as the instructions suggest - it grips my hair so well I don't really need to hold the ends to guide it through (I do when using traditional straighteners). -Comes with two big hair clips and a comb which are all good quality so come in handy for sectioning off your hair. Cons: -Short cable. -Might be tricky to clean if it gets a product buildup in the "teeth". -Location of the power and temperature buttons makes them easy to press when in use.

I bought this item as I struggle to style the back of my head and thought I would be able to straighten my hair by brushing it. This would have been a dream on holiday when my hair has a mind of it's own with the humidity. But it doesn't work like a brush. It does straighten the hair but i have to hold a very small section of hair and guide it through the grids of the styler. I actually find it even harder to straighten my hair at the back. My hair is quite fine and wavy so I'm not sure how effective this styler would be with thicker or coarser hair. I feel this will be left on the shelf now as I've gone back to my GHDs.

It’s amazing straightener hairbrush and works extremely well as long as used correctly. Worth to mention that this is not one hand brush as many seem to think. As with regular straightener u do have to use 2nd hand to section and for tension. U should brush from under side for better grip and hold hair until the very end are inside the brush. It’s important that ends are also straightened (flattened) to avoid freeze as well as broken ends that will also give u ‘silk hair’ feel if ends are properly flattened. U don’t need very thin section as long as u have good tension and moving brush down slowly. 2-3 times is enough for each section. Similar to regular straightener u can not only straighten your hair but also make gentle waves, curl and volume with it (thought curling is bit tricky with it but I’m guessing it’s just practice matter). Brush over all feels good weight but not heavy. What I really like about it is safety though. I touched every part of it while hot on max setting (purely to test as it would be burning hair, temp above 170 is never necessary as it will burn hair) and didn’t burn my hand once… The back of brush felt quite work but not so much more o burn on touch I was able to hold it for couple seconds before it felt to hot. Now if my silly thing but with little children who my accidentally touch it it’s worth to mention (that said I would advise keeping it out of kids reach same as regular straightener). Main minus is grip that isn’t as strong as I would like without proper tension which means it’s that difficult to get that ends trough it properly. Also buttons for temp are annoyingly just below my finger which makes extremely easy to accidentally change temp setting while u doing your bar with it.

I ordered the VKK hair straightener yesterday and it arrived today so very fast delivery which is great. It came in a nice box with the device, clips and a comb. I washed my hair and blow dried it. I have very thin hair so blow drying it only takes 3-4 minutes. The first picture is before I used the VKK hair straightener and the second picture is after I used the VKK hair straighter. I used the VKK hair straighter for about 3 minutes on heat setting 3. As you can see, it has improved the look of my hair a lot. It's straighter, smoother and less frizzy which is great. The only thing I found is that within an hour my hair wasn't looking the best. It looked ok but some kinks and waviness started so I went over my hair again with the VKK hair straighter on heat setting 4 instead and this seems to have done the trick and kept it straight and smooth for the rest of the day. It's easy to use but your hair gets very hot so be careful. Use a heat protection spray on your hair first as you would when using anything hot on your hair. I will switch to using this instead of my normal flat plate hair straighteners as this seems to be kinder on the hair and gives a more straight but with volume look that normal straighteners don't. Plus the price is great! It's faster than using normal straighters but do test out heat settings to ensure you use the best one to keep your hair straight and smooth all day. Overall I am happy with the product and would recommend it. It does what it claims so just go for it

Good product. I have fairly curly hair but only needed to brush 2 times per hair strand and it got pretty straight - in the picture I used the 2nd gear, by now I use the 5th. Heats up quickly. No need to comb before using the brush. I tested it multiple times and to get the little wave in the end of the hair is a bit of luck (could be just me :P). For hair like mine a straightening iron still seems the (a bit of a) better choice since the effect lasts longer (even if I brush more than 2 times per strand and use a higher gear the ends get a little frizzy over the day, even if I pre-straighten them with my dyson air straight) but I'm sure for less curly hair this is a great product especially for the price.
