Use your own drywall anchors
I was not able to install using the studs because they did not line up with the holes in the mount but drywall installation was fine. The anchors that came with it are crap so I would suggest using your own. I had better ones on-hand, so no big deal. It is very sturdy, looks great, and I was able to decorate my mantle for Christmas without blocking the speaker. Best part is it was way cheaper than the Sonos branded mount.
