I actually bought this for my brand new car to protect it from my toddler! It did not have any slots for the seat belt plug, but that was fixed by simply cutting a slit and doing a quick stitch around where I cut. Great purchase

My husband and I have fairly new cars, so we're pretty protective of trying to keep them neat and clean. Unfortunately our 4 legged kids don't really care how messy the car gets, so we needed a solution for this. This car seat cover worked perfectly. It is better than just throwing a blanket down over the seats for several reasons. It is a hammock style barrier, so it protects your floorboards and seats at the same time by attaching to the headrests of both the front and back seats. The adjustable straps can be adjusted to fit, so it adapts to the interior of your car. The material is waterproof, so dirt and liquids are easily contained on the cover and MUCH easier to clean up. We have standard poodles, so I don't worry about fur since they don't shed, but I imagine that this would be very helpful in that area as well. To clean I just use a damp cloth and can hang to dry if necessary. You do have Velcro openings in the cover so if you use a seatbelt latch for your pups collar you can still seat-belt them in to help keep them safe. The only drawback I see in this cover is how it attaches to the headrests. The adjustable straps can be a bit difficult to maneuver around the headrest base and I think I would rather have a Velcro option for this part of the design, or perhaps a button down option. Other than that it does a great job helping us to keep things clean and nails from ripping at the upholstery. I did receive this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

I bought this at a discount in exchange for my review. I was not expecting to be overly impressed with this product at the start. I expected it to be more trouble than it was worth. Turns out that it’s a pretty good idea. I have 2 small dogs and one of them likes to move all over the vehicle. This kept him contained in the back. They both shed and of course this kept the hair off my fabric of my truck. It also protected the leather seat of my car from their claws.My car is a 2-door and I expected it to be a hassle. I found out that it has a zipper in the middle so that if you fold your seat up to access the back, it allows it to move enough without pulling. The zipper also will allow you to reach to the back from the middle of the front seats. I did not see any mention of this feature in the advertisement, so I was pleasantly surprised.I like the safety buckles on the straps, they’re fairly easy to release, and it’s big enough to fit my car and my truck. Keep in mind though, that if you don’t have headrests in front and in back, it can’t just snap in place. My truck does not have headrests in the back, so I had to fashion a way to hold the straps. I’ll have to figure something more permanent so I can use it in my truck on a regular basis.

I bought this item for my daughter, as she has a 60 lbs dog that sheds, and every time I get in the car I am covered in dog hair. In only a few seconds you can throw this in the back seat and it really helps keep the dog hair from getting all over the car, and an added bonus is that the whole car does not smell like a dog after you remove it.
