Inserting and removing the shelf from the safe is easy enough, but the safe door has to be ...
I purchased this 903 Shelf along with the 912 Tray and they both fit perfectly and snug in my SFW123GDF SentrySafe. Inserting and removing the shelf from the safe is easy enough, but the safe door has to be opened fully. So be sure to place the safe somewhere that enables the door to swing open wide if you intend to be pulling the shelf out at all in the future. Although, the shelf is only sturdy enough to hold light to moderate weight items without bowing. I wouldn't recommend putting anything too heavy on it. Also, in my opinion, I believe the shelf is thin enough as to not take up too much space, but is adequate enough to keep your belongings separated and organized. My safe came with the locking drawer, but I took that out as it took up a lot of space, the locking mechanism was flimsy, and difficult to open without siding it halfway out of the safe first. The 903 Shelf was the perfect solution for me. I would say it is a must-have for these types of Sentry safes if your safe doesn't already come with one, or you should consider getting a second one.

LOCKING DRAWER for Sentry Safe (SFW 123)
HOW TO INSTALL LOCKING DRAWER ~ Our Sentry Safe Locking Drawer didn't come with any paperwork to show how it install it properly. Hubby put the items in the locking drawer, then locked it, and slide it into place in the safe. He closed the safe door, but the Locking Drawer kept if from shutting. After trying it in various locations (high, middle, low) in the safe, we thought we'd been sent the wrong item. Finally, I noticed when he had the locking drawer out of the safe to remove the items, so we could return it, that the lock pushed out past the side of the drawer when in lock position. Hubby unlocked it and pushed it back in the safe, and it went all the way back in the safe, then he locked it. Now, it's secured back in there, and the safe door shuts !! YAY !! To remove it, it will have to be Unlocked first, then pulled forward. The Locking drawer is good sized, and easy to use (once you figure it out - HaHa). Even though it's plastic, it seems to be of good quality. We definitely recommend this item.

It fits my space but cheap plastic
I would buy it again because it helps optimize my safe space. However, it is made of cheap plastic. I wish they would have something more sturdy, maybe made out of metal.

This is extremely useful item for any safe
I love this drawer and works well in my SentrySafe. Much better than just a flimsy shelf, this helps keep things neat and organized inside the safe. Highly Recommend.

Worthless as a lock box
Pros: it fit into the SentrySafe as designed, the key not only locks the box but locks it in place inside the larger safe. Cons: NOT secure as a stand-alone. I intended to use it to store personal papers with the intent that I could take it out of the safe and transport it with me as an independent lock box. NOPE. The box is made of cheap/thin plastic, and even though I knew it was plastic when I bought it it’s much more flimsy than expected. Additionally, the lock on one side/corner is the only means of keeping the lid closed, and it’s so flimsy the other side can gap more than 1/2” while still locked, more than enough space for papers and valuables to fall out of your carrying it under your arm. It could probably gap even more, but I was afraid the lid would break off. Basically, it’s minimally useful as a means to keep items separate within the bigger safe, but useless as a separate locking box.
