399 Almond Cake Pan - Non Stick

Our cakes seem to stick to the pan no matter what we do & they are hard to get out.

This pan is perfect along with the cake recipe enclosed. I've served the cake for birthdays for folks who don't want surgery frosted cakes. It's fabulous on its own or with berries and whipped cream.

Despite using a generous amount of non-stick spray, the cake sticks to the pan.

Leave the cake to cook a few minutes longer than suggested, and grease the pan very well. Mine stuck to the bottom of the pan because I think I didn't grease it well enough.

I was happy to get the pan and recipe but have tried multiple preparations to avoid having the cake stick and not one has worked. I used cooking spray, I used spray and oil, or margarine, flour, and cooking slightly longer, trying to trim edges as soon as it came out of the oven, waiting until completely cool... I always have to really scrape sides with rubber coated utensils and then the cake looks lousy to serve. This is NOT a no-stick pan.

It works beautifully as long as you use an oil spray.

Needed another for a winter home...Bought one around Christmas time and loved it and the recipe. The cake makes a nice hostess gift.
