Satisfied
Im very pleased with these joysticks. The functionality is great. I like how there isn’t much wiggle room in these joysticks. It has solid and stiff controls. Paired with 4lb springs, feels very nice. Just wish the lighting was brighter. I had hardwired the LED to a 12v outlet. Decided to stick with the included adapter to the usb encoder for the 5v power supply since the increase in brightness from 12v to 5v was hardly noticeable.

Works Well, But Watch the LED Wiring and Connector Fit
The joystick itself is plug-and-play with my existing board, which was great. However, the LED did not work out of the box. After troubleshooting, I found that the red and yellow wires were flipped between the two ends of the connector. Once I corrected that, the LED functioned properly. Another issue is the connector on the joystick end—there’s a large solder joint that makes it difficult to plug in and remove. You have to force it in and out, which can be frustrating during installation. Overall, the joystick works, but if you’re planning to use the LED, check your wiring first, and be mindful of the tight connector. Hope this helps others avoid some frustration!

Don't buy.
Joystick is solid. Lights are dim. Very unfortunate

Very OK custom stick!
All around decent enough Sanwa style stick. Minus a star only due to the dust washer sitting flat, which causes the clear surface to get scratches and takes away from its translucent effect. A small extended outer ring would lift the washer high enough to solve this. The stick has a slightly better than average spring action to it, being slightly more snappy and having a little better resistance compared to your average similar style sticks. Ball puts off a softer illumination than what is shining through the base of the stick. Having a highly reflective surface in the inner wall drilled for the stick would emphasize the glow emitted f rf of the base. I will be buying other colors eventually from here.

Signal was reversed so didn’t get it to light up initially. Had to cut and exchange +\- lines
had to fix lines to make it work

Poorly made, LED design is terrible and mis-wired to boot.
Bought two. Strong switches, neither LED works. EDIT: The LEDs are miswired, negative for positive. The port for the led is packed under the housing, with a large solder lead that you have to jam the cable through. Terrible, terrible design. Light transmissiontube is detatchable, which is a bad and good (good to clean/adjust, bad for light transmission, but the lights don't work anyway) EDIT: Shaft is loaded with axle grease, will be unusable in 3 months due to to dust. Bought a competitor's version, it has a much bigger top ball, but much shorter shaft requiring extensions which makes the light tube too small. ffs. I cut the tube from this one to fit the better joystick, took the light cable and threw the rest in the trash..

Works for gaming, not some much for appearance
Joystick appears to be well build and comparable to other sticks on the market. I plugged the led wires into an encoder I had and the lights appeared to be dim. Light just doesn't seem to get into the ball top to really give off any light. When you have these sticks and you are pairing them up with led light up buttons, it would be nice to have equal light on the joystick to match the buttons. I was hoping that these would be a more affordable option to other light up sticks I have tried but these just don't have the same light. I ordered this red one, and I have a green one coming tomorrow, so maybe I'll get lucky and it will look better.
