Excellent and long lasting results for jeep wrangler hardtop
Initially I was very worried about using this product. My main concern of course was that along with the oxidation, it would possibly tear into gel coat and remove some of that as well. My Jeep Wrangler JK’s 6 year old hardtop has faded enough, so I took a leap of faith. IN SHORT: This product truly works miracles. It seems to only dissolve the bad oxidization layer, while leaving the good paint intact. As a result, the hardtop of my Jeep Wrangler came out with close to new looks. No need to paint the hardtop. No need for Penetrol or all the other recommendations from car forums - THIS PRODUCT IS THE REAL DEAL - It will restore the hard top to near new condition. It works so well, that I feel bad for anyone who is painting their hardtop instead of using this product. EXTENDED VERSION: I test treated a small 1 square inch area of the hard top freedom panel. It came out promisingly beautiful. Then I waited about 5 months, to see if the gel coat of the treated area has worsened or weakened in any way. But the area has remained just as beautiful as on the day that I have treated it. So I decided to move forward. I have used regular kitchen paper towels and started with treating by hand small 20 inch areas at the time. Initially still worried that the product would damage the gel coat, I kept wiping it off and buffing it almost immediately after treatment with a fresh paper towel. Later I realized that it is not really that necessary as the product seems to be very forgiving and easy to use. It only dissolves the bad oxidization, while leaving the good gel coat intact and alone. Another concern of mine was to be ending up post treatment with embedded strikes or patterns of my hand motion. But thankfully even these worries worked out to be unfounded as well. Of course, I paid good attention to what I was doing. I continued to move forward treating small areas at the time, while blending-in the edge areas as best as I could. Once I was done with the panel, I started all over again and gave it another pass. And once that pass was done, I gave it a third and fourth pass with a soft kitchen dish brush, for the remaining oxidation in the crevices. With each pass my paper towels were cleaner. That is how I knew that the product does not hurt the paint. With the last pass, the towels were almost not getting dark, or getting dark only, when I hit a spot that I have apparently not treated well enough prior. After the last pass and the subsequent hand buffing with a wet- and then dry terrycloth all patters were gone and my hard top was near new condition. Most notably the same semi-gloss, as the not yet faded side areas of my hard top. This product is just fantastic. I highly recommend it. Finally, I have some peace of mind as I don’t have to worry about my hardtop fading and deteriorating in the sun. This product is now part of my garage and I know I will be able to use it restore my hardtop if so needed again in a couple of years. Last but not least, make sure to sake it really well before use and regularly during use as well. The liquid and solid part of it tends to separate.

Worked great.
Great product. Bought this to polish the front cap of my RV trailer. It very quickly polishes paint even by hand. After I use this product, I came back and also put a carnauba wax over top of it. Definitely has a nice gloss now and not a flat oxidized look.

Works well but difficult to work with
We used this on our RV to try and bring back the original color as it looked pretty faded. The end result was great but getting there not so much. We purchased the gallon size container since we had no idea how much it would take. In the end a quart would have been more than enough. The instructions said to shake well so I shook the container for two to three minutes. After that the product looked like water with white globs floating in it. My wife and I then took turns shaking it for close to ten minutes. We then had an orangeish liquid with white globs floating in it. We ended up pouring the entire gallon into a two gallon bucket and used a paint stick on it. We were able to get it blended but the white substance would separate back out after a few minutes. We ended up stirring it up and pouring a quart into a clear plastic jug so we could see that it was shaken up enough before using it. I haven't seen any other comments about this separation issue so maybe we just got a bad batch, I don't know. Happy with the results but not the process.

You need this stuff
WORKS GREAT--- used it on a 40 year old fiberglass shower-- so grimy the first layer needed a stainless scrubber. No it didn't scratch it. Then another cleaner--- nothing.. then this stuff . hand buffed easily then: SHINEY . WOOW SHINEY But be aware I used a torqx oscillating polisher that I use for cars (tried a cheepie- ug) and a medium softness sponge pad. Had to hand do a couple of places and that works too- but I'm old so glad not that much

excellent product, I suggest using a buffer though
I have never used anything like this before, when I say that I mean I have never tried to remove oxidation before so I had to watch youtube vids, read up etc. I have a camper trailer that is in excellent shape but after about 3-4 years of sitting in the sun, the fiberglass was starting to so signs of oxidation. A slight to moderate chalky looking coating on the side that gets the sun most of the day. I didn't want this to be a big production so started using it by hand and rubbing and rubbing. well, it worked (somewhat) but it was splotgy. some areas were shinier than others. This was not the fault of the product, it was because doing it by hand is nearly impossible. Also, the product just doesn't go very far using it on a rag and constantly reapplying. At this rate it was going to take forever with mediocre results so I broke down and bought a dewalt buffing pad for my dewalt grinder. What a life saver. Using a buffer, I didn't have to use a lot of the compound, I actually put too much at first and it got slung everywhere so be very sparing of it. once I got the hang of it, that stuff goes a long way and man it ate away the oxidation. yea you'll have to use a little bit of pressure but the fiberglass on the camper looks brand new. And the water just beads up on it and I haven' used any of the Meguiars polish or wax yet either. A note of caution however, be very cautious around any decals on your camper because the buffer will strip those off (luckily that didn't happen,) also, don't stay in one place too long. being new at this I have one spot on the fiberglass where I kept to buffing pad a little too long and it started heating that area and discolored it slightly. Not really noticable to the casual observer but since I know where it is, I'm aware of it. It is easy to burn or over heat an area like that so just be aware. All and all, I couldn't be more pleased. I can't wait to use the polish and wax to see how it turns out. Honestly though on 2nd thought, I may just forego the polish and straight to wax. It is already extremely shiny so don't see the need for it. I'll read up on it first though. I gave 4 stars for easy of use only because I was hoping to not have to use the buffer, thought I could get good results by hand. those results were okay but even at that, a lot of hard work. Don't forget your micro fiber towel to removed residue in areas you've finished.

Ottimo! Grana abrasiva molto fine, impossibile fare danni. Buon lucidante anche con spugne dure. Usato con rotorbitale da 21. Per ossido persistente, consiglio doppia passata.
