I bought 5 of these yellowish silicone sheets with elastic bands. These photos are of my first attempt. Water based markers do *not* write on these as they do on the cheap, thinner sheets that Amazon sells. I was a little disappointed about that, but it's still a decent product. The initial drawing I did in the first photo was freehanded with alcohol brush markers in red then black. Though, I found that the alcohol ink impeded my ability to lay down ink with the tattoo machine (I'm using a dragonhawk mast rotary). I had to go over my lines a few times which isn't good for practice. I'm not finished yet with it, but you can tell I had a hard time. I used a 9rl needle cartridge. I also tried just freehand tattooing a small heart and it worked well. If anyone has ideas about what markers to use whose ink wouldn't interfere with the needle, let me know. I'm still going to give it 4 stars bc they are nice and thick. I haven't used the bands yet.

You cant wipe excess ink off of these without it smearing and staining the fake skin, they are damn near unusable, you cannot see stencil after first wipe and they do not come clean. The thin fake skin that came with my gun was better. Shear disappointment.

Never used practice skin. As tho I have shot real tats and the sensitivity of the practice skin seems spot on. The strap could be a hair bigger. In all tho its a great product. For the the price its a great value for your buck! Wish they sold bundles of them!

Nice thick practice skins, very good quality. Held ink well and can be used on both sides for more practice. I definitely recommend these. I used Vaseline to get rid of the ink smudging that occurs when tattooing and they came out pretty clean with no staining.

Very good product, I purchased the 3mm and it's as close to the real thing that you can get for the price. Yeah my lines aren't great yet but I'll be purchasing more of these for more practice.

Can not clean out any access paint off of the skin. Leaves everything messy...
