I was trying to repair this clock by shopping for just the quartz movement. Being a mini clock the choices were limited. So, I fig'd let's look at replacing the entire clock.I found this one and surprise, the cost was the same as just the guts of the old one!Really love the face, it's a nice gold tone with stylized numbers! The movement is quiet, smooth & seems accurate. Great purchase!

I have a desk clock from a company that I worked for a long time ago, and it has become a staple on my desktop. When the quartz movement finally gave up the ghost, I thought I would need to throw away my old clock, as no one repairs these anymore. I also looked into purchasing a new quartz movement and reusing the face and hands, but this seemed complicated and not worth the effort (and likely to fail). This clock fit perfectly into the space I had available and actually looks better than the original. Clock face is cleaner, and this movement is very accurate and reliable. Keeps great time! I couldn't be happier.

This clock is meant as a replacement for a clock that has a contained movement that can be wiggled out. It has an rubberized ring around it. Not very pretty hanging on a wall.

It fit into a old clock

I purchased this after thoroughly reading the description and measuring the current clock piece and housing component. The measurements of this replacement clock piece fit the dimensions of the clock being replaced, perfectly. And then it arrived, and didn’t fit. The problem is the plastic dome face. So, I removed it and super glued the old glass to this, sans a frame, and put it back into the housing component. Perfect fit. So, my point being, it’s possible this replacement clock may be too large for your project—but that doesn’t mean it can’t be finagled to work!
