International Coffee Sampler, Blonde/light Roast Coffee Beans (Costa Rica SHB Ep Tarrazu La Pastora Coffee Beans, 1 pound Blonde/light Roast Coffee Beans)

Not super fresh. I will continue to use mistobox or go to a local roaster, but I thought I’d try this based on recommendations.

Coffee was good but it wasn't as strong as my hubby thought it would be

I have been ordering and trying different types of coffees from this supplier, always making sure to order lights roast, as one knows that this is what coffee connoisseurs really do to taste the bean and not too much of the roast. Rare are the suppliers who actually care about offering different roasts levels and who offer such a great diversity of coffees, while ensuring traceability and do not mix beans from different farms. I really respect this supplier for that. Now, from a taste standpoint, all their coffees are pretty good, but I found one of my favorites. This Papua New Guinea in particular tasted the best out of the three that I have tried so far (the two others cofffees are Ethiopia, and Colombian Valle Del Cauca, which are both descent options still)

I've been a long time purchaser of Cerro las Ranas from another retailer and after trying this coffee, I had to throw it out. The taste and after taste was honestly horrible. Not the sellers fault as they didn't grow/process it, but for the price I paid for this coffee, I was really disappointed.

This is a perfect bean with a perfect roast every time. I highly recommend you give this light roast Mexican coffee a try.

It's good but do not have much history with it yet.

Our bag was very low quality. Many bad beans, or "quakers" in the bag we received, giving it a grainy, cereal taste. Very inconsistent roast also. These could very well be the reject beans from a big commercial brand.
