They were great until they weren’t. We put them around the border of the bedroom ceiling and they’ve stayed put. The remote would often give us a bit of problems every now and then. They worked great for 10 months but now the lights are stuck on a dim setting and white color. Battery changes for the remote have had no effect.

I bought these lights for my daughter's room and she loves them. They are easy to install. The adhesive works so good. They been up for maybe a little over six months and they are still hanging. One roll was enough for her whole room. I will be purchasing more for my niece's room.

Covid changed most people's life significantly, in a bad way. Probably more to the kids. They can no longer go to school and play with their friends. As part of our small efforts to cheer up our kids, we bought this led strip lights to decorate our house. Yes, it did.The led lights are bright and colorful, both of which can be adjusted using the remote. By default, it changes color automatically (maybe every 2-3 seconds), with at least 10 different colors. You can also manually set it to the color you like, by adjusting the red, green and blue ratio, all through remote. The strip is flexible, you can make the strip to any shape you want. However you may need to pay a little more attention to the corner area, if you need to make a 90 degree angle (it is a flat strip, not a line, so it will not be flat in such situation).The strip's back (i.e. the other side of the led light) is covered with a 3M adhesive. Once you peel over the protection layer, you can fix the strip to wall or any surface. Two lessons I would like to share here: 1) make sure you clean up the surface first, otherwise only the dust will stick; 2) you can only stick it once --- try use regular tape to simulate the shape first and permanently stick to the surface once you decide you like it.Installation was easy but honestly the manual was not helpful at all. The end of power supply splits into three separate lines, one for IR (i.e. remote), two for each strip you receive. Although there is an arrow on the power supply end to suggest the correct way to insert the strip, there is no corresponding arrow on the strip end (at least I didn't find). If you are in the same situation, no worry, just try. There are four pins on one end of the strip which you use to connect the power supply. The first time, no thing happened. So I pulled the strip out, switched the pins (180 degree turn of the strip) and wow the strip lights up --- beautiful colors. I received two strips in the box. An important note here is you can not link the two strips one after another sequentially to make a super long strip. These two strips need to both connect to power supply, or in another word you need to have a power plug somewhat in the middle in the decoration. Or you can use one strip only. In my hands it works fine.To use the remote, you need to pull the plastic cover out from the battery compartment. At least from what I have found so far, you can only control the lights using the remote. So don't lose it.So far my kids are very happy with the lights.

Daughter absolutely loves these for her room but not even a year in and really not a whole lot of use, there’s sections of the lights that turn red when on blue. They’re never usually the same color as the rest.

The media could not be loaded.  We recently had a patio cover installed and we thought it would be cool to have some lights added to the perimeter of the patio cover. We searched Amazon and found that there were tons of choices when it came to light strips. Our new patio cover was about 30 feet long and 11 feet wide, so that helped to narrow down our options.We finally chose these lights because 1) they were 100ft, so they were long enough to cover the area, 2) they could be trimmed if needed, 3) they were self-adhesive, 4) they had a remote control, and 5) they were very reasonably priced.We knew that these lights were not specifically “outdoor” lights, but we thought that for the low price, we would give them a try to see how it looked and then once they stopped working, we might consider getting actual “outdoor” light strips which were significant higher priced.We put the light strip up in November and the whole process was surprisingly easy. Since then, we have had several hard rainstorms but these lights have survived. Last week, we had another rain storm that went on for hours. It tripped our breaker and made all of the Christmas lights in the front yard, as well as this light strip, go out. The next day, we reset the breaker and to our surprise, the light strip was still working. Pretty impressive!We have the app downloaded on our iPhone and it is seamless. We really like how easy it is to change the colors and pulse of the lights from our phone. So far, we have no complaints and have actually been really impressed with this light strip.We live in Arizona so the weather has been really beautiful. If these lights last until the summer, I will update this review to let you know if the lights we able to survive our 100+ degree summer.

The only problem I have is the sensor on the remote is wonky, I have to press it at weird angles in order for it to turn the lights on. Must have happened when it was being shipped, other than that I love them!

The product turns colours NOT on demand. It just randomly changes. Not too bad if you enjoy getting woke up like you’re stuck in a rave party at 3 am, but you’re naked and alone and now scared that it may be ghosts messing around with the lights. Anyways alright product for the cash. Too bad mine malfunctions

I have purchased many other brands and they worked well. This one did not work after putting it up. First of all, this has a big adapter which is not great when you are attaching the LED to the top of the wall. It pulls down on the light. They don't provide any pieces to secure the LED which I have recieved with cheaper ones that are pretty much the same. Regardless, I put it up and then connected the power. Power was working but the light did not work. So Amazon asked me to return the product, I peeled it off the wall and now the paint is ruined. We just painted this room 6 months ago. Don't waste your money on this. Buy a different brand. We have no choice but to buy another one to cover up all the marks on the wall.

The media could not be loaded.  These LEDS are great and light up my whole room! They are really easy to apply to the wall, I even had to move them a few times and the stinkiness kept working! It comes with a remote with a bunch of different colors, and different modes like an auto mode that goes through all the colors. You can dim the brightness or make it brighter. I recommend it for any gaming room etc you wanna add some lighting to :)

I would return it if I could, but having cut to install, that is not an option.Issues: Thin and flimsy. The solder joints are not that great and take a steady hand (I have one). Still, it was not easy. The cut joints for pressure fits were not that great. Joining was harder than it should have been. The adhesive could have been better, for the joiners needed to be supported with either tape or screwed tags.The remote lasted only two weeks before dying. At first it appeared to be the battery, but after installing a new one it still would not work. I had purchased two of the light packages and both remotes died at the same time. Neither of the controllers would work with the two units.The light is not that great from them, and the white setting makes the colour of my tea look purple. It is probably off for some reason (maybe poor LEDs).The conclusion to this is, there are probably a lot better products out there that I should have bought. Won't make that mistake again.

I got these for my grandkids and they love them, so many light and color modes with the remote. Be aware though that they will take off the wall paint if you try to remove them . Aside from that they are amazing
