These really work!
I spent over an hour trying to remove 3 stripped star head screws from a deck. I found this extractor kit on line and decided to give it a try. It was very inexpensive so I figured I did not have much to lose if it did not work. Well - I had those three screws removed from the deck boards in less than a minute for all three. It took me that long because I had to change out the extractor for two of the screws as they were so badly stripped. Run, don't walk, to get this kit! It really works!

Exceeded my Expectations
Honestly, I had low expectations for this product, but it was the only one that came with a small enough extractor for m2 screws and that is all I needed it for. I tend to avoid buying the cheap Chinese stools (from Harbor Freight and such) because their quality is not worth the reduced price. But this set, being a little more expensive than others, actually exceeded my expectations.First off, the bits feel like they are quality steel, better than most of the stuff I have seen from Chinese manufacturers, secondly, it performed as needed to extract my little m2 screw. The little bit holder is actually very nice and holds bits in tightly, I didn't notice any wobble and it drilled into my screw head without any issue. Switched over to the extraction bit and it pulled the screw out, albeit the head broke off at the last second, but I wouldn't say that was the extraction tool's fault.Overall, it did exactly what I needed it to do and I think this tool is well work the extra cost (sometimes it is much better spending an extra $10 or so if you know the tool is going to be better). Instructions were good enough as well.

Missing piece!
As soon as I opened package, I removed the box and heard something rattling. No big deal as one of the pieces had come out of the bracket holding the pieces and then I noticed one bracket had nothing in it. It was supposed to contain six pieces, and only five were inside box. I immediately went to Amazon to start return processing and I only got Amazon credit, no refund. The package came from China and I would not have ordered had I known where it was from, nor would I have ordered if I had known I could only get credit on my Amazon account and not a refund to my credit card if the item had to be returned for some reason. I never used the product so I cannot attest to whether or not it works. At lease it was not an expensive item. Overall I love Amazon and very occasionally things get broken or parts sometimes missing. It is just a part of the process. I will continue to shop Amazon.

Product works, but not long
Once I figured out the correct amount of pressure to put into both the drilling out and then screw extraction, I found that the bits do indeed work. The problem is that the kit includes 2 of the #2 bits which is nice as that is most commonly used, but I went through both bits within a matter of trying to get out probably 10 screws. Rendering both of my #2 bits completely useless as the end of both snapped off. Now I wasted $10 of bits on boards that I should have just pried off. Lesson learned, product is fun, but probably a waste of your money unless you only need to use it to remove one or two stripped screws.

One Screw Almost Ruined My Stroller - This Tool Saved The Day!!
Let’s start from the beginning. My cat decided to use the fabric base of my daughter’s baby stroller as her litter box. She SOAKED it with pee. Nothing but a serious wash was going to get rid of the foul odor. This wouldn’t have been such a big deal if that fabric hadn’t been attached to the frame by 10+ screws…I was able to unscrew and remove every screw, but ONE. The last one was completely STRIPPED. I tried every DIY hack out there to remove it - rubber bands, metal grip strips, pliers - to no avail. I was so frustrated because we use this stroller every day. You don’t realize how much you rely on something until it’s inaccessible.I shopped around some big box hardware stores in town but every set of tools similar to this were $20+ for just one drill bit.You totally get your bang for your buck with this product, AND you get 6 different sized drill bits!Okay, I’ve given enough backstory.I received the tool the day after I ordered it, and I ripped that package open immediately. I wasn’t going to wait one more second to get my stroller back. This tool is super easy to use, and pretty self explanatory. If I can do it, anyone can!The screw was pretty small, so I started out with the smallest bit. It wasn’t gripping at first, so I moved up a size and that was perfect!! Right away, the bit grabbed the screw, and pulled that sucker out.I was so excited and relieved to finally wash the base!Thank you for making my life a million times easier, AND for saving my sanity in the process!

Work great! A must have for the tool box!
These screw extractors are great! Very durable and quality tool. I have been wanting something like this for a long time. I wish I would have bought these sooner!! Great value for the money! They also come in a nice little plastic case to keep them organized! I would definitely recommend these. Also would make a great gift or stocking stuffer for the handy person in your life! A+

EH...
I really wanted these to work. The idea is pretty good.I dont usually write negative reviews but these were mostly a small waste of money. Others complain about the size but in reality, you dont need them to be large since they are designed to fit inside a stripped screw head... which is almost universally small. That said.. I had 4 hex bolts that were stripped on a pair of aftermarket tail lights on my bumper. They worked to get ONE out. On the other 3, they only succeeding in stripping the head further. Yes, I ran them backwards (counter clockwise) as per the instructions. Ended up using a small (Dremel) grinder to get the small bolts out.Would not recommend.

worked for me!
As a woman, I didn't buy this for a man-I bought it for myself! There was a screw on my wooden garbage box that needed to be removed as I was replacing the hinges. I tried everything according to the Bob Vila recommendations. I was at my wits end. One of the things he recommended on the site, was buying one of these, which I had never heard of before. My first attempt didn't work, despite using a smaller bit as recommended. So I went up one size and voilĂ ! The screw came right out with these! I can't tell you how happy I was! And I was able to continue on with what was supposed to be a simple and fast project. I would never be without this kit again. I read other reviews here, so I wasn't sure about the durability, but so far so good! What a lifesaver! And it kept me from having to pull all my hair out in frustration! Haha! ;)

Bloody brilliant
I needed to change the blade on my seldom-used plunge saw. Unfortunately the original screws were apparently made of cheese and rounded off with only a slight bit of pressure (I only use hand tools when changing blades to try and avoid exactly this happening!).This little kit has proved it's worth in one use. For such a cheap price it has saved me a lot of angst and barely delayed me at all since it was delivered next day. I doubt I'll need to buy it or anything similar for a good few years as they seem pretty sturdy and well made, and come in a decent little case to slot into your toolbox.

No sirven.
El metal del que estan hechas es muy blando. se deshizo la broca contra un tornillo tipo chilillo. quedo lisa en vez de perforar
