Adam Savage did an episode on a similar small parts organizer from a German manufacturer that he really loved. I figured if it was good enough for Adam Savage it was good enough for me, and I was a keystroke away from buying one, at over $100, when I came to my senses. I found this parts organizer which is very similar to it’s German counterpart, and it was TWO organizers for under $30. Hard to beat that.Things that could be improved: The mechanism that locks the two boxes together for easy storage could be stronger. It just feels a little flimsy. The catches that release the lids on the boxes are just kind of strange. Finally, the dividers in the front section of the box are permanently attached. It would have been better if all the dividers could be removed and placed wherever I wanted. For the price, though, these boxes are pretty decent. If I were using them for work and throwing them in and out of a truck or van then I would get the $100 German box. But for around the house and occasional use they’re fine.

I have several of these and added two more. They were a bit expensive but stand up very well. On was received cracked but it didn't affect functionality, so I didn't go through the trouble to return it. Would buy it again.

I really love these interlocking small item storage boxes! They fit and lock together perfectly with my old HDX boxes of the same size. I’ve been using them to organize accessories for my sewing machines, and they’re just right. I was a little unsure at first, but since I couldn’t find the HDX boxes to match the ones I bought five years ago, I took a chance after seeing another reviewer say these would work. I’m so glad I gave them a shot!

I started getting the HDX brand versions of this organizer box from HD at the tail end of their production and availability. loved the size and modularity of said HDX version and wanted more. these lock in perfectly with what i already have and seem to be made of the same type of plastic.cons - in the two pack i received, one of the lids came shattered in one corner. additionally, these are a bit expensive for what they are. perfect of shop/lab setting but i would hesitate to take these on an "away mission."

Looked for organizers that would match to the ones I already had - in other words, I would be able to stack them with the others. These are perfect - Like they're made from the same mold as far as stackability. Interior space is great as far as ability to customize the size of the spaces. Really like these organizers and would certainly recommend them to others.

Exactly what was expected. Holds what I need and the clasps lock good.

The product arrived quickly but broken. it was safely packaged in an undamaged amazon shipping box! I chose this one after Amazon recommended it as an option for faster shipping than the one I had already chosen.This is unacceptable. I have now read other reviews which also complain of the broken boxes. Apparently the plastic being used is brittle or something. Poor design and material selection for a product that is popular enough to have a dozen or more vendors selling similar items. Amazon needs to mark this one as 'often returned' like some other products. I'm heading to the Big orange Box store tomorrow to buy a box I can see and feel before buying.

happy with it.Quality is just as good with comparable ones at homedepot, except much cheaper.
