The BEST rubber cement for bike tube patches
I've been cycling for 37 years and have tried EVERYTHING out there for bike tube repair. My standard is to repair 2x then toss the tube. The REMA cement is very efficient in "holding" the patch after drying and the sides won't curl up once dry. I leave the plastic on the patches as that is not an issue. The REMA cement is thick and doesn't run. The process I use with this cement is to clean up the tube and buff it with a 150 grit sand paper. Then once I've actually applied the cement and patch, I put it between my wood clamping vise on my workbench. This will assure that you're compressing the adhesive, patch, and tube 100%. I've tired other cements and make sure you go with the REMA brand. Finally, be aware that Amazon does NOT allow you to return adhesives. Happy patching!!

Theres the best and theres the rest.
I have tried maybe half a dozen different rubber cements over the years, most have similar performance but this stuff worked noticeably better. A little more forgiving on its initial curing time and zero failed repairs.

Works well, received an open and incomplete can
Works great, however the received can seems to have been previously open and clumsily resealed with tape. It was empty about one quarter of the can. Interestingly enough the Rema matching patches also arrived in a previously open and incomplete package...

Must have if you have lots of kids bikes.
I was always running out of vulcanizing fluid. After I got this, in a whole year I have only used may be 1/5th

Keep the tubes of cement on your bike for emergencies / use this when back at the house.
This is much easier to use than all the little tubes that tend to dry up. You can't take this with you on the road but it works great when back at home. The brush makes it easy to put a smooth layer of glue right where you need it. Don't be fooled into thinking all rubber cement is the same. It's not! I've learned from experience to stick with this brand.

it's important to have good tube repair items always on hand
I purchased this along with the Rema patches. As any cyclist comes to realize, it's important to have good tube repair items always on hand. In my earlier days of cycling I did not pay much attention to which patches I bought. I went through a lot of the little patch repair kits with the tiny tubes of liquid that often dried out. One day I happened to watch a video about Rema products and saw that this is a highly rated brand by many cyclists. Buying a bulk size Rema repair liquid along with a bulk size of the matching patches seemed liked the economical way to go. I'm glad I did. I always have what I need now to repair a flat and I feel my tubes hold up a lot better now. I have a box of tubes with punctures in my storage closet that I had saved prior to discovering Rema. One of these days I will spend an afternoon repairing all of them with the Rema products. Glad I found this.

Don't throw away pricey tubes
So , you fix a flat with a new tube and flat the next day. Tiny puncture caused by wire or sticker, repair it. Use your best judgment, but if you decide to repair it, this is the go to glue. BMW motorcycles used to include REMA TIP TOP with their tire plug kits. Still the best. Ride on.
