I hate this reel
I hate this reel because it makes me regret spending hundreds of dollars on my Curado MGL and Tatula SV TW reels. Is this reel better than those high-end ones? No. It feels cheaper in comparison. But in terms of functionality, I honestly can’t tell much of a difference. Plus, those expensive reels require maintenance. With this $50 reel, if you drop it in muddy water, you can just toss it and buy a new one.

Great budget friendly caster
This is yet another great bait caster from lews. I've purchased their top of the line caster and their cheapest bargain caster. Yes, I can certainly tell the difference - butb I've yet to have any issues with any lews product. They're all great!

Well built reel
Had it for a week and on the water 2 times. I’m a very bin fan so far. The frame feels sturdy but light in your hand. Put 2/3rds of the spool mono backing and 50 lb braid on the rest to pitch and it’s been great. Easy to dial in and casts smooth once you get it going. I think it’s one of the best reels for the money and it performs comparable or better than my $130 Ark G2 in the same gear ratio. Likely will buy more just wish they had more variety in the gear ratios

Can't be beat for the price
Amazing little caster. Great control and smooth retrieve. I paired it with a Daiwa Aird-X and the colors match perfectly. Excellent reel for those looking to get into using baitcasters.

Worth it
Bought this reel thinking I’d casually dabble in fishing. Three weekends later, I’m standing ankle-deep in a creek, whispering sweet nothings to this reel like it’s a trusted war buddy. It casts smoother than a pickup line at a boat show and reels in fish like it’s personally offended they’re trying to escape.

Great Reel, Great Price
love Lews reels and this low end reel is still a great reel. smooth and cast great for 50.00 i recommend this for beginners and for they guys who want a rig for every bait style but have limited budget. will buy more and i have 2 of these already. also i put them on the KVD IG8 Graphite rods. got those on sale for 80.00i always put a drop of oil on the bearings straight of the box.

Reel-ly Good
Really good reel for the money. I would personally recommend the Carbon Fire for a few more fun tickets, but this one will serve you well too. Not much to complain about. For the price, it may be the best in show... but I like the Carbon Fire better for a little more.

Impressed
This is an impressive reel for the price. Will probably buy another one.
