No nicks or cuts, a nice sharp blade
No nicks or cuts with these blades. I use them in a Merkur 180 and I use them twice before changing them out. You could probably get more shaves out of them but at this price I would rather not worry about irritation from using a dull blade. They come individually wrapped in wax paper 5 to a box. I have a very thick beard and I shave in the shower with regular old face soap. These blades will still glide over my face with no pulling. I never shave against the grain, there is no need to do that to your face! Make a first pass with the grain and then a second at 90 degrees to the first and you will have a nice smooth irritation free face with these blades.

These are great and a very good value compared to the store ...
These are great and a very good value compared to the store brand or multi blade razors. I like that they are incredibly sharp but not so much that it feels like the top layer of your skin has been removed along with any hair. Also they last a while for being a single blade and changing blades to ensure a consistently great shave only cost pennies instead of dollars with the multi blade razors. I've tried feather, blue bird, derby, etc. and these are my favorite by far.I would rate my skin as more on the sensitive side and these don't cause bumps or irritating for me.

Russian Gillette Double Edge Razor Blades
This is yet another Russian made Gillette blade. It's amazing that Gillette, an American company, has abandoned the traditional wet shaving market in America....yet they turn out a multitude of razor blades in Russia. At any rate, this is a good smooth razor blade that I find to be above average in both sharpness and smoothness. There are worse razor blades and there are better. I've never had a bad shave with a 7 o'clock blade. My advice is to try several different brands from Gillette and others to see what works best for YOU before stocking up. Everyone has different skin, faces, and beards, so what works best for me may not work well for you. Buy sampler lots first and go from there. It'll save you money in the long run.

Buyer Beware!
Make sure you know which 7 O'Clock razor blades you are getting. There are only 2 types of blades labelled Gillette 7 O'Clock in a GREEN box.Permasharp Stainless are made in IndiaSuper Stainless are made in RussiaThere is a distinct difference between the two types of razor blades. They are not the same, and many people buy the wrong one due to the color of the box being the same color for both. The image, and description on this particular item are completly wrong. Make sure you know which one you are getting. For the curious here are the different types of Gillette 7 O'Clock razor blades;PERMASHARP STAINLESS - Made in India - Green BoxSUPER PLATINUM - Made in India - Black BoxSUPER STAINLESS - Made in Russia - Green BoxSUPER PLATINUM - Made in Russia - Blue BoxSHARPEDGE - Made In Russia - Yellow Box

Wonderful Close Shave
Like many of you on here I decided to stop buy the Very Expensive Style Blades and return to the Old Fashion Wet Shaving, I'm using a Merkur Open Comb Razor, and the Very Sharp Feather Blades, which work good for me, but lately I've found myself needing to reshave areas even with a new Blade installed, I decided to purchase a couple packs of these Russian made Gellette blades and the results are outstanding, and at a quarter of the price of the Feather Blades, now I cannot guarantee that you will get the same results that I am getting because Everyone's Beard and Skin is different, but for the price this Blades cost, they are worth a try in you razor.

False advertising!
Strange... the seller sent 3 "Saloon" packs of "PermaSharp" blades, each box contained 10 blades, and all of the boxes were opened! The blade packages themselves did not appear to be compromised, so I wonder if the glue was just cheap and the boxes opened during shipping? Also, these are NOT made in Russia - these are the cheaper, India-made blades that I was purposefully avoiding!I guess it's cool that I got 5 extra blades, which makes the blades worth keeping, but I wanted what was displayed in the picture - 5 packs of Russia-made blades. The blades shave ok, not great, for 1-2 shaves at the most - not nearly as smooth as the real-deal Russian ones, which will last 4-5 shaves and pleasantly smooth. These blades left me with more nicks, especially on the 2nd and 3rd passes.
