Easy Plug N Play Option
I bought this KVM switch because the other, much cheaper versions failed on me. This thing was so simple to put into action, with simple plug n play interface. I unplugged my old one, plugged this one in and, magically, everything worked again. There are no hesitation in the switch over, so that was a plus. Additionally, they switch button is separate from the actual device, which means I can place it closer to my operating position for easy access. I give this a thumbs up all the way around. Very solid build on the casing and the dual purpose cords that go to each PC make it very simple to get setup. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a single monitor/two computer solution!

Remarkable value for a KVM Switcher
This had most of my key requirements: HDMI plus two USB connects to switch between two computer with a remote switch. It did miss the 60 Hz HDMI capability, but for the price that was absolutely forgivable. I probably would have preferred to be able to use my own cabling (And specific lengths) between the box and my computers, but with the remote switch, locating the box anywhere made that less critical, and it does save on cable costs.I connected a webcam (So I can have the video feed centered over my monitor, and not use the laptop camera)) and the keyboard and mouse through a USB hub - Everything works/switches fine. Two things to note - I had originally connected my 4K monitor to my laptop, and it was set to 60 Hz. I didn't get any video until I manually adjusted the refresh rate to 30 Hz (The switch's maximum). I had no issues with my desktop, but that's an antique that only supports 4K at 30 Hz, anyway. If you have issues with no video, double-check your refresh rate.I also turned off the "Disconnect-Reconnect" sounds in Windows - It makes switching less annoying.Based on the price, I am totally satisfied with the switch, and would buy it again.

Malfunctioning, unplug everything to get it to work again.
Sometimes when switching between devices the connected USB and video doesn’t recognize- so PC1 will work- switch to PC2 and no lights on keyboard/mouse and no video signal. Switch back to PC1 and it works- switch back to PC2 and keyboard will work but not mouse and no video signal. Back and forth till they all work. Or you unplug everything and plug it all back in and it works for a few minutes. It does this maybe 4 out of 10 times. Also the 3.5mm Jack for the switch button is VERY fickle. You can rotate it while it’s plugged in and it jumps between PC inputs. Touch it or wiggle it- the keyboard or video drops out.Doesn’t seem like it can carry more than 120hrz at 1080. But not sure if it’s supposed to be able to.Otherwise it worked for what I wanted. Just can’t live with the back and forth.

Work OK most of the time
Worked OK initially, but started to get a few issues after a few months: the switch key would not work consistently, had to press it multiple time before the switch being done, the keyboard and mouse connectivity would not work, so can't activate the computer you are switching to. Eventually bought a different brand.

great design and easy to set up. but doesn't seem to like macs in standalone mode
I purchased it to hook both my PC and Mac pro together, the PC side is fine and works with no issues, and the mac works the same , the only issue is if the mac is started first, the mouse and keyboard will not properly be recognized by the mac, therefore the pc has to be on and running for me to use the mac. with the pc I can use it by itself pretty much every time. so while it keeps me from switching the hdmi, keyboard, and mouse back and forth. it pretty much also makes me run both machines if I want to use the mac pro. that said it was probably meant for simultaneous use, so this would be better suited for those who usually prefer running two machines daily

Works just fine, thank you very much!I
I am using this to connect two Raspberry Pi computers to one keyboard-mouse-display station. Not totally straight forward though. I am coming out of one standard HDMI port on one Pi to the standard HDMI input on the A?B box. I am also bringing one USB port from the Pi to the corresponding USB port on the A/B switch. I am coming out of the second Pi with a micro HDMI to standard HDMI adapter, thence to the other port on the A/B switch. The USB from the second Pi is also going to the corresponding USB port on the A/B box. The HDMI output from the switch is going to a HDMI to VGA adapter which feeds video to the display unit. The "keyboard" marked USB port on the A/B switch has a Logitech wireless keyboard adapter plugged into it and talks to my Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse. This set-up works just find and allows me to switch between the 2 Pi's with no problem. There is a slight delay of a second or two between the switchover completes and the display appears, though. Don't know if that is a function of the A/B switch going from one power source to the other (powered thru the HDMI cable) or if is a function of the HDMI cards in the PI;s waking up. Don't care. NOT a problem for me. Very happy with this switch.

Surprised and impressed!
I never thought I needed a KVM switch until I needed an extra pair of monitors for work. Especially when traveling, it was clear I needed a better solution than to lug around monitors and extra cables, power supplies, etc.First surprise, no power cable needed! I was like, "WHAT???" I mean I know that power can be transmitted over different mediums, but I never thought that could be achieved without an extra power source. For that, I was happy to be wrong.Second surprise, 1 Click, easy switch! Yes it's normal these days, but that little button is like magic to me. One click and you're off to a different environment. It's been several weeks and I haven't had a single issue. I had an older monitor and was able to get the HDMI adapter conversion easily on amazon. Needless to say, I'm a happy camper. Conclusion: I WILL buy another one. This is a must have! If you're considering what to get, I would highly recommend this little device, especially the no extra power adapter feature. I'm actually going to see if there's a switch that can handle a third computer :-)
