Voltage throughput is inadequate for iPad/iPhone, unit comes out of the plugin socket when you rest your iPhone and iPad on it. This is not ready for prime time.

Exactly what I was looking for. Love the side outlets.

Complete garbage. Takes forever to charge being that it is only 1 amp.
