I bought this headset to replace a much cheaper headset of a different brand that had poor audio quality. The audio quality of this headset is much better, both for understanding speech and for listening to music. When listening to a high-quality stereo podcast, I've sometimes had to back up and replay a segment to be able to tell if a sound was part of the recording or something that happened near me.The leatherette covering over the ear cushions is much more comfortable than having foam directly touching your ears, and the padding on the inside of the headband makes it more comfortable to wear. It does a reasonable job at muffling ambient noise, but this model is not ANR-equipped so it would not be ideal in a noisy environment. However, for my purposes -- use in a quiet home -- ANR isn't needed.The volume control and media play/pause buttons on the right ear cup are convenient to use, as they don't require chasing the cord to find them. Muting the mic by swinging the boom up is likewise quite handy.

This headset is perfect and checks all the boxes! I was looking for a headset to use for meetings and online teaching using Zoom and Google Meet. The headset works flawlessly with both. I love that it is plug-and-play. My voice comes across crystal clear in both Zoom and Meet. I was looking for a wired headset with the ability to mute my mic by raising the mic boom. I tried other wireless headsets, and the connection was spotty, and the battery never lasted. Thus, I wanted a wired headset for the reliability in connection and never needing to charge it. This headset comes with noise-cancellation; I am pretty impressed with how well it works. I tried it in a loud cafe, and the only thing heard was my voice. This will come in handy when I am traveling. It is comfortable to wear and seems to be well made. I highly recommend it.Update: After using the headset for a couple months, I'm still in love. I have come to love another feature I thought was worth highlighting. The usb wire has a mute indicator light on it. It is so nice when you have a million windows open to just look over and see the red light that I'm muted. No more checking back in the meeting widow to double check. The light even captures when you mute from the meeting (Zoom/Google Meet).

I have had Jabras before and this one is nice, really good quality mic, isolates sound well etc etc. Sound quality is great also. Nice cushy ear pads that cover well without being super huge.I am currently using it with a desktop machine on the floor under my desk and the cable is just too short to be comfortable. Even if the machine were actually on the desk as it's name suggests, say behind my monitors, it would still be an issue I think.So bear that in mind when looking to purchase.

Amazing headset. Noise cancellation quality is the best. Before I bought this head It used to be difficult to unmute and speak on the calls/present because the other headsets would capture the surrounding noise. After buying this headset I am able to manage my meetings without any disturbance to the meeting attendees

Despite hearing a lot of negative things about Jabra products, I decided to give this one a chance as it ticked all the boxes I needed for a work headset. When I first got it, I noticed immediately that it was not super comfortable as the description would have you believe. I can't stand wearing this thing for 30 minutes, let alone hours at work.The sound quality is ok, not bad, not exceptional. I can hear people ok on conference calls, so it does what it should. The microphone quality from what I have been told is good, no complaints. The noise cancellation is non existent, don't believe their lies.I would rate this thing 2.5 stars HOWEVER, in typical Jabra fashion, the headset microphone broke 2 months into using it. I contacted Jabra support and they sent me through this archaic, nonsensical warranty replacement process. Once I reached the final step they literally said "go ahead and pay to ship it back to us". What..? Your product is defective and I have to pay to replace it??? Are you out of your mind?Jabra is just another garbage company, running as lean as they possibly can and penny pinching so that they can squeeze out every last conceivable drop of profit and exploit their customers. This is a bad, unsustainable business model and I refuse to support it. Don't give these people your money, their products are bad, their return policy is worse, and their ethics are non existent. Steer clear.

I needed a pair of headphones that I could use while my kids were screaming around me. These are really good. I did a lot of research on youtube and watched the videos where they test them with alot of noise around. I was impressed with them and i was not disappointed. The sound quality is very good and the mic is amazing when you hear yourself back. They are also really good for wearing a long period of time. I highly recommend these!5/4/2023 update:The wire has become quite tangled constantly. Its very rigid and gets tangled. Therefore i am taking off a star. its really annoying.8/17/23 update:The wire twists on its own even after straightening it. Its really really annoying. I"m taking off another star on this. This headset is really good but this wire issue makes it super annoying.
