I like these water stickers better than regular polish stickers
The instructions in the description aren't correct. These are water stickers. That means you have to soak them in water and the design lifts off the back of the paper. You carefully apply the design to your nail and gently pat it dry with a tissue and fold the extra design off the nail edge, then very lightly sand the free edge to remove the extra pattern. If you fail too hard the design will slide down and you'll lose part of the pattern. Once the extra's off you smooth the design down as much as possible and then apply a thick coat of clear polish over top. The polish bonds with the sticker and dries pretty quickly, so just do one nail at a time. Any bumps or ridges smooth out with the polish and you get a nice even shine, even over the spots that the sticker didn't cover. Use your best polish so your manicure lasts even longer!I like these better than the sally hansen polish stickers because there isn't a sticky edge that lifts off the nail or sticks to my hair or collects random fluff.

Hard to apply because there is no adhesive to stick to the nail surface.
This review is for the nail design sheets that are applied with water. You get what you pay for. I thought i could get these nail designs to work even if it is a poor quality product. I was wrong. I use nail stickers all the time and I usually can get them to work. These are not like innoco, sally Hansen or jamberry. These are like the tattoos that little kids get. You soak the design in water then apply it to skin. Well these nail designs are soaked in water and then you slide it off the paper and apply to the nail. There is no adhesive so it does not stick. So I used clear nail polish to seal the design and it is very hit or miss. The clear nail polish melts the design so I ended up smearing a lot of them while it was on my nail. I went through three diffferent designs before I was able to apply the designs to an acceptable level but a few nails ended up smudging. The design sticks to your nail with clear nail polish but it shows every flaw on the nail surface. I have nail ridges and every ridge is very noticeable. I also noticed that the designs are printed onto a white background and that some of the white background shows at the edge of the nail bed. It might not bother some people but it bothers me a little. I'm hoping this just has a high learning curve and someday I will be able to apply the designs decently. I wish the designs had a little adhesive to help anchor the design to the nail surface. It sucks when your applying clear polish and the design moves on the nail bed and you try to move it back but it smudges. I left a small amount on the tips ends with the intention of filing it down later but the clear polish melts the excess and it sticks to the underside of my nail. But I've tried worse than this set. The worst was rubbery black nail stickers made by Essie that I found at the dollar tree. I thought since it was made and sold by Essie it had to be a quality product. Wrong! Those nail stickers were worse than these and it was from a name brand. It was not even worth the dollar I paid. They had no adhesive and even clear polish couldn't hold it down.

I wish!
Very cute and sweet designs. Wish I could have used them. They are decals and cannot be stretched when fitting on a nail. I am not having much luck with these. Enclosing a picture. Second of all, I have large nail beds and these are not wide enough to cover the whole nail surface. If I try to move them too much, they rip. Unfortunately, these won't work for me.

(And that is what these are - water decals and not sticky backed wraps like Sally Hansen
Admittedly, this was my first rodeo with full nail water decals. (And that is what these are - water decals and not sticky backed wraps like Sally Hansen.) I had used smaller water decals to add flair to my nails in the past, and as a new mom without the luxury of hours to apply mutilple coats of nail polish and let them dry, I turned to these wraps for a quick fix to make my nails look nice without taking a lot of time.I rated these are three stars because they are... OK. Some designs are obviously prettier than others, but the rating was mostly for the staying power and ease of application. Good set for beginners to practice with. I'll stick with individual decals or sticky wraps.PROS:Lots of designs! And some are really interesting/unique.A good range of sizes per sheet to make it more likely you'll find a size that suits each nail. (Nothing big enough for a big toenail.)Decal slides off easily after being dunked in water for 30 seconds.CONS:Difficult to get to stay in place, especially when trimming to fit to size. I tried wetting my nail first and also adding a drop of clear polish for tackiness, and neither worked too well. The staying power is awful. :( Even with a good coat of Seche Vite on top, the nails on my dominant nail chipped in the first two hours and peeled off completely in the shower.TIPS:Trim all the decals to size before you start.Use tweezers to dip and remove from water and slide onto the nail.Budget more time than you think. It's a lot of work cleaning up the overage!Use a top coat and paint along the edge of your nail and wait for five seconds. The decal will kind of melt away at the end of your nail if there is anything hanging off/too long. Use a q-tip to sweep it away.Good luck!
