Women's Hiking Pants Convertible Quick Dry Stretch Lightweight Zip-Off Outdoor Fishing Travel Safari Pants

I bought these for a trip to Africa. They are good quality! Of note, I ended up exchanging for a larger size. I usually wear a 4 but these are made to sit high waist which then made them too short for me (5’7”) and also a bit close to riding up the bum so I ended up getting a 6 so that I could wear them around my waist as normal which gave me a bit more length to work with. Overall nice pants but consider sizing up a size if you don’t want them to be high waist and if you are taller.

I love everything about these pants except the color. I ordered grey but these have a decidedly olive green cast to them. I really got them to crash around in the woods without getting scratched up, bitten by mosquitos, or overheating, and they work great. As a bonus they are surprisingly flattering in long form and super comfortable. Only thing I would change besides the color is to have the shorts-conversion zipper just a little higher, because it hits just at my knee. Doesn't rub, surprisingly, but looks a little doofy as a shorts length. As an aside to any paddleboarders out there: I bought these to hike iin through rough brush to a lake to paddleboard, with the ideal that the long pants would protect me and I can convert to shorts for the board. BINGO. These dry fast and are perfect all around.

Took my first canoe trip into the boundary waters. The pants got wet many times, but dried extremely quickly. They didn't hold the dirt either, so was able to wear them a couple days in a row. I thought if it got too hot I could zip off the lower legs, but the fabric was lightweight and cool enough I didn't have to do that, and the long pants served to protect my legs when portaging. These were arguably one of the best purchases for my trip.

I absolutely love these pants. I needed a comfortable pair of work pants since I work at a nursery and it can get quite hot working outside. They are light weight, not tight and durable. Love the added bonus of being able to make them into shorts if it gets too hot.

I really like these pants! They are a lighter gray than the color appeared on my monitor, but that's fine. I like that the zip-offs hit just below the knee on me (5'4", size 14) so they don't dig into my thighs. I am about 180 lbs and carry most of my weight on my thighs so that was an issue with the previous pair of zip-offs I tried.There is an elastic "drawstring" in the hems, which when used makes the pants look a bit puffy, but it works. It would be good for pushing the pants up a bit and having them stay, I guess. However, as is, the pants are a bit long on me and stepping on that hem with the elastic cord in it is uncomfortable.I'm also not the biggest fan of the yellow cord on the zipper pulls--I don't want my zippers to stand out? They are already oddly shaped pockets on the sides...Nevertheless, the pants are comfortable and the material is excellent. Truly quick-dry and I love the bit of stretch to the fabric. They make a bit of a crinkly noise when walking but not at all like a windbreaker type material.

Great for our safari! Mornings were cool so started our days with full leg but an hour or so later it was great to transform them to shorts. Generous size pockets. Easy to reattach lower legs. Very comfortable! Would definitely buy again

I love these. They are cool to wear. They protect my legs against insect bites/stings, and the sun. They are easy to wash a dry. I wear a 12. I bought a 12. They fit perfectly. P.S. - They are great for boating and fishing.

I am 5’2” and 130lbs and generally wear size 4 in pants. My Levi’s are 27 waist if that helps. For these I went with their measurements and got two pairs in size 8. The waist sits on your natural waist (so size up even more if you want it to sit lower.) One pair fit perfect, the second was a bit tighter in the waist. I was able to move the button over a bit and now it’s fine. I love that all the pockets have zippers and taking off the bottom of the leg was easy. Haven’t worn them hiking yet, but so far so good.
