Adhesive Delaminates from Backing, Too Tough to Cut
I really wanted this tape to work since it is cheaper than Gorilla tape black. The biggest problem is this tape delaminates. That means the adhesive separates from the black colored backing, making it a glorified sticky matt of adhesive with no backing. It does this outside in the sun and ALSO inside in a climate controlled room out of the sun. Also, the tape is a little too strong laterally, making it difficult to tear cleanly and especially frustratingly difficult to cut with scissors.MANUFACTURER: Please try corona treating the side of the black backing contacting the adhesive. That may resolve the delamination issue. It's worth the cost to make a useful product.
